Super fake package PTSD is real. I thought I bought an authentic LV Weekend Tote GM on eBay, when I opened the box I immediately thought I bought a fake: there was no foil stamping, the bottom did not match the picture, and the "dust bag" was torn and flimsy, but I The handbag I bought at *condup* looks authentic: the hardware, the zippers, and especially the canvas. I watched a channel where a woman refurbished vintage sheepskin bags that were in good condition. She dampened a soft cloth with leather cleaner, then leather lotion, and blotted it dry. She applied lotion three times until the bag stopped absorbing it, then polished it off with a dry cloth. Any scratches are gone. She says you can use a high-quality black leather polish on the worn corners of a black bag. Alternatively, you can have your bag sent for a "spa" by a reputable restorer. It comes out like new. You can't do that with caviar. I mean, sure, but the scuffs and scratches won't go away. *condup*

I got to play with it in the boutique and it is not slouchy at all, IMHO. I don't feel it is "super soft leather", as mentioned in the video. It is on the stiff side for a slouchy bag in person. You have to fight with it to get much slouch and it doesn't stay that way. It's going to take some breaking in for a while. It is roomy more than you would think. I feel that rather than an insert, which would not allow it to slouch much at all, using SLG's may be better for organization. Maybe it will soften in time, but it will never have a lot of slouch, is my opinion. This is not at all like the softness of the Speedy Soft Side, which is quite soft, slouchy and way nicer if you want a "slouchy" look. I really wanted to like it and buy it, but it is just OK, but not outstanding. Especially for the price. Totally agree on the review on this point! Thanks for posting!

Great video! I agree with you about personal safety concerns, especially when traveling, getting robbed on vacation is painful enough, but getting robbed with an authentic bag is even worse. To me, it makes sense to travel with a fake *condup* bag and not carry any valuables that you would miss.
