Thank you for showing the cognac Speedy in real life! I struggled between the Speedy 25 and the Neverfull. I decided on the Neverfull and it came today! You’re right it’s a little plain, BUT I ADDED a GOLD Chain strap! That did it for me…added a little pizazz that it needed. Plus it has the little pouch, which you can add a chain strap to.. win win in my opinion!

Alternate perspective... I went in-store to see these bags in person. The 25 is the perfect everyday size. I wouldn't buy the 30. Also, a core design feature of the Speedy is the slouch. In order to add feet, LV would have to add a structured bottom. If they did that, then it wouldn't be a Speedy! I do agree, however, that the On the Go GM is just too big! The bags are on the website as of today. Thanks for the video!

I went to the store the same day they received them. I was able to see all 3 models in the cognac color. The OTG GM is huge, I've never liked the Neverful and in this color it was just blah, I fell in love with the Speedy. I bought it because to me, it looks cute and just perfect in the 25 size. I wouldn't have bought it if it was a 30. As someone else mentioned, for it to have feet, it needs a structured bottom, like the Alma, and it would alter the slouch effect that I love about the Speedy. I am 5'2", so the strap length doesn't bother me, but I agree that it is too short for taller people. I hope you keep it in your collection, it is a gorgeous bag and it looks great on you. Thanks for all the advice.

It's personal choice, I really prefer the Speedy 25 as a shoulder/crossbody bag but speedy 30 as handcarry with no bandouliere. I think its so hot and you should definitely keep it! That colour is everything 😍

Agreed on the feet! Also, I love that you preach paying yourself first before spending the excess. That's how I roll too. And I also love that you wear non-designer clothes sometimes but class it up with your designer accessories--that has been my style for a couple of decades now :) Still love your loop GM the most of all so even if you decide to return the speedy, you're still a winner this fall! That bag is everything!!

I used LV scarves from the launch to wrap the handles - it’s 🔥🔥🔥 I wouldn’t have purchased the bag if it was a 30. I like the slouchiness of the speedy in canvas but do wish the leather versions had feet! Thanks for another great video!

You are wearing my very top favourite LV bag ….the Monogram Pochette Métis! I just love mine. And you’re so right Marquita; especially with LV moving to empreinte leather in a lot of cases, bags like your new Speedy 25 should have gold hardware feet. I love the 25, but a 30 would be great too. I just don’t understand why they didn’t include a longer adjustable strap. The length of the Pochette Métis strap is fantastic and so versatile. Nooooo don’t send that beautiful bag bag…..keep her! She’s gorgeous. Ok seriously, maybe the way to decide is to look at your other speedy 25 bags…do you reach for those? If not then maybe the answer is to send her back. I know what draws me; it’s that colour! But that doesn’t mean the bag style is the right one. Thank you again for another great video!

When the empreinte speedy was originally launched, it came in sizes 25 and 30, and they had feet. The feedback was that it was too heavy so LV removed the feet. Smaller bags have been on trend for the last few years, I would not purchase another 30. Maybe LV should consider bringing back the speedy 28 that was only available for limited edition canvas releases. The cognac color is beautiful, I hope you keep it.

Hi Marquita. If you don't keep that bag, definitely get another 1 in that color. As far as finances go, I work with married couples who make 300k+ a year and some of them are in so much debt that they had to deplete their 401k. Just gotta work on a budget n if it's $10.01 and you only have $10..don't buy it ! 😑 I know u just stated the obvious. Also getting credit cards that have cash back rewards and pay them off in full every month. I got my rewards up to $3400 and I should of put it in savings but I said screw it I'm going shopping at LV lol I love the color of your outfit 😍

There’s no point of adding feet on speedys as they will sag when it’s stuffed and the bottom will still have contact with any surfaces when it’s placed down unless the feet are 2 inches high🤣

I’m sad to hear you may return the cognac Speedy. I love it! But you have to do what works for you. You’ve said you mostly carry your Speedy bags as totes, so the 30 is good for that.
