*Enter* I love Speedy 25s but the Alma doesn't fall short in any way. So still Speedy 25 for me. I am always and forever grateful for surviving Breast Cancer! 6yrs . After a double mast my husband stayed by my side. After chemo changed my thinking it almost led me to take my life. But Each day I continue to give God the glory for all of his blessings. Keeping me sane with perfect peace and in good health with family that love support and encourage. The Lord has never left me and still sends blessings my way. So many I can bless others. I prefer speedy b 25 all the way. Reason: First, it is spacious enough to hold all my essentials and more. Second, also l like how the strap clasps are on both sides of the bag unlike Alma bb. I have problem with where the clasps are placed in the 2 handles on the Alma bb which causes the bag to slightly twist when you wear it. Third, the Alma strap is too long for someone short (5 ft 2) like me. These are the reasons I prefer the speedy 25b over Alma bb. Demiere ebene is my absolute favorite print from LV.

As for what I think is better, I have to say the Alma BB just because I think the price point is great and the shape is unique. For speedy I normally go bigger, 30-35. Plus I like the structure of the Alma bb!

Another great video Meg!!! I have to say, I prefer the Alma BB, but had you asked me a year ago (which no one did 😀) I would’ve thought I needed a bigger bag than Alma. Pandemic has shown me, I don’t like how heavy my speedy b30 can get and how the straps dig in or weigh on me. I know yours is B25, but I find myself carrying too much and it’s too heavy. I’ve been loving my speedy nano, and it surprisingly holds a lot and looks really nice on my more petite frame. Thank you for sharing Meg!

I do have to agree with you that I would prepare the Alma BB over the Speedy 25, it is nit just better structured and mire leather. To me the Speedy it’s more bulky when you wear over the shoulder or crossbody, Alma BB definitely looks more close to you body and more feminine. Also I appreciated he opening of the ALMA BB better! Hello I purchased this bag for my wife in the damier print. She has had it for 2 years now but only starting carrying it 8 months ago. The shoulder strap is starting to peel on the back side. Is the strap leather? We took to LV store and sales rep not too helpful. She says strap is canvas and the damage considered wear and tear, a replacement strap is 250.00. We don’t mind paying but if the strap is this cheap why bother. For the price of the purse I would think it would be leather. Do you have problems with strap peeling?

Hi there, the strap is made of leather and definitely shouldn't be peeling. I have never had a problem with my Damier Ebene straps... How odd it is the LV sales associate told you it was made of canvas 😳 I would go back to LV & tell them that peeling of leather (or canvas) is not normal "wear and tear". I would say that you need a strap replacement and not have to pay for it because it's obviously a defective strap. I hope that helps a bit and best of luck! 💙

I think the speedy bandoulière is the best one, si classic, so nice and easy to dress up and dress down. I love it. I have bought a few Speedy bags but never got an Alma, not sure why...A very long time ago LV was making a beautiful Alma horizontal in mmonogram.I really liked it but never got round to buy it....🙂
