Sometimes a house is so shrouded in its own artistic vision that I have a very very difficult time seeing any of the pieces on a hanger in a store. For me personally, the true art of fashion is to take something one-of-a-kind and make it somehow wearable. Its the balance. When something is too saturated with one or the other, it ceases to inspire me. I realize that, to a certain extent, Nicolas is there to bring the house credibility so it can sustain its billion dollar accessory business, but if anyone can bridge the gap between avant grade, cool and effortless, its Ghesquiere. I just didn't like the taste of his Kool-aid this season. There were a few beautiful pieces in there (and of course, some gorgeous bags), but a few out of hundreds is not an impressive set of odds.

I had the same reflections on the Fall-winter 2021 fashion show of Louis Vuitton and this year my big time disappointment is Yves Saint-Laurent, I mean strechy jump suits ....

I miss Ghesquiere’s Balenciaga days. So distilled, refined and pure. Even the styling and music were impeccable. He has too big of a budget to work with now. It’s all gone a bit Marie Antoinette.

The music is lovely, the place filled with lights and chandeliers just excellent. However it is one of the worst collections from the prestigious French fashion house of Louis Vuitton. Have you lost your mojo, artistic, creative skills but always thinking that you are dressing beautiful women worldwide and that you owe them quality, style, glamour, opulence. In addition to that you need to remember the respect of the brand that being Maison Louis Vuitton atelier. You have forgotten all of that or just disregarded it completely. What a shame and embarrassment.
