A front pocket would be a good add too. So you can keep your laptop or iPad in front of you. I have the original 55 but it’s with two wheels. They have another roller bag with a pocket, but it isn’t a 4 wheel which i prefer. Good tp know about the weight limit. The major US airlines don’t weigh carryons (that I’m aware of) and on my recent trip to Asia they didn’t weigh my carryons nor did I have to separate my liquids…

The inconsistency in airline policy makes it a minefield! The Pegasus has a pocket I think 🤔

I think even if you fly international, 7kg is still the max weight for carryon on a single piece for safety purpose just in case it fall down from overhead locker.

Most of the LV carry on suitcases on the preloved market are only two wheels, which is a definite no for me! The handle being so wide, it’s not going to fit through most trolley sleeves. Since I always take an 8 lb folded dog crate in my big suitcase, I’m glad they’ve never weighed my carry on! I have a French Bulldog carry on suitcase and a Coca Cola one, but I always use the Samsonite. It’s such a trooper!

@@DaylesAddictionit wears well, it stretches in capacity and the wheels run super smoothly. And if it gets dirty, I can actually hose it off. Traveling with my dog I can’t beat that! And the telescoping handle never falters or feels less than solid.

@@DaylesAddictionI’ve got a little Samsonite, and I usually pack a foldable Samsonite case inside (in case I buy souvenirs)! If I need to use the foldable case, I put my handbag inside it so I’m still only carrying two pieces to carry on with me 😊

Great review, Dayle. The design where the trolley handle is on the back and not inside where your things are is pretty cool. That is something I don’t like about my hard sided carryon suitcase. I wonder what Meredith is going to say about the stickers still being on, lol. Thanks for sharing!

Gorgeous suitcase! When I was in Europe in March I saw quite a few people (men!) in airports carrying very old and worn LV duffle bags as their carry on. I imagine these would be quite light-weight. 😊

call it whatever but i love how i feel when i have my white rimowa with my bright pink chanel xxl travel flap. i feel so lux and fancy. plus i love all the heads it turns. with the rimowa hubby at 1st didnt get it, he got the chance to drive it around japan and he was impressed. he couldnt stop saying, it just glides lol. hoping to surprise him with one for his bday. depending if i have a job by then.

😍omg the sticker removal was so satisfying! I've consider getting a zippered LV backpack or tote. I'd really like to travel more within the US, and I can imagine getting luxury luggage for that because it would mostly be by car. My big question - is LV luggage sexier than Gucci? Great review. I was surprised on the weight as that is very light to me. My decent carry on case weighs 4.7kg and it seems hard to get a really good one that is lighter. I have one that is 2.7kg but it is very flimsy and nowhere near as good quality - was a lot cheaper too.

I just bought an LV bag holder, which is a very pretty and spendy peace of leather. I am temporarily down to one fully functioning arm so put the cost of it down to rehabilitation! Just love girl maths.
