Thank you for the great comparison! After eye-ing Victorine wallet for 2 years, I finally bought YSL compact wallet. Apart from the advantageous points, the price difference between both (I'm comparing Victorine Empreint leather vs YSL compact wallet price) is significantly huge in my country. Thus, YSL is defeinitely value-for-money. I'm happy!

Thank you so much for this wonderful, in depth review. I will be doing several trips abroad this year and wanted a more sturdy wallet where I can fit change, bills and cards. I’m currently using the LV cles as a wallet but it doesn’t fit bills well. I am also beginning to get annoyed with the Clip that is attached to the LV one. It’s just not proving to be a great choice as an every day wallet for me although I love it’s slim design. Thanks to your review I just ordered the YSL wallet! :D I think especially for travel I don’t take all my cards with me, only a few essentials so this will be perfect. For every day I can put any extra cards in my lv cles and my daily cards in the YSL. Thank you so much for your amazing, in depth review!!

Great review. One question, which holds its value better, if you needed to sell it, which do you think would sell quicker. I had a leather Gucci and struggled to find a buyer. Never the case with LV. New subscriber.

When all the items (12cards,cash,coins) are in the ysl wallet how is the snap closure? I purchased the Prada wallet similar to this (it has 9 card slots but with 10 cards in the snap pops open. Does the snap closure on this one hold well? I’m thinking replacing the Prada with this one x

You know, I can't decide which style I'd choose. I think if I were forced to buy one, I would go LV here. I'm not the biggest fan of that black look in bags. Black bags for me are usually pretty specific. I like a lot of Chanel black products. I like both in general though.
