Hi, Autumn! I just wanted to say that the Toiletry Pouch you are spoking about is actually the Toiletry Pouch on Chain (M81412/ USD 1760) in monogram canvas with the YK design. It includes a Toiletry Pouch 15. It is a handbag with a chain and vachetta leather on both sides. The 2 pouches can be used separately. The smaller pouch is just the normal Toiletry 15 without any alteration. Thank you for sharing all these info about next drops.

Love the look of the bottles. I have a Do xie also, best dogs ever! The pumpkins are whimsical, yes! It is up to the individual's taste. I like the sunflower, would I buy it, no. I can't afford these kind of bag anymore. It is hard to paint the dots. Look at Picasso,.no one understood his.art.either. I like the dots.

It was interesting you spoke on Mexican artworks you enjoy and why the faces and fish appeal to you. In Australia we have a lot of Aboriginal artwork centred around dots so some of YK’s creations feel familiar to me in the same way. I bought the psychedelic flower PV in white/blue from the men’s collection 1st drop and use it as a large clutch. This flower in particular I like more than the pumpkins but the coin purse is super cute and the blue and white dotty bags are nice. The regular flower scarves look very pretty. I did not know a 3rd drop was coming… not sure what else they can add!

Hey there, Autumn. I recently watched a video by Meredith where she mentioned the second release and she said that she wasn’t interested in acquiring anything from it. However, she said she may consider something if it spoke to her. I haven’t heard anything specific about the racism issue but I would appreciate your thoughts if you decide to address that. I like some of the pieces of the collection. The blue and fuchsia leathers are pretty but I don’t know how I feel about the majority of the collection. I have an art background, too so I can appreciate her style. That trunk that you and Winnie Bee plan to get is awesome. I have always liked several painted trunks of all sizes and I would love to have one someday. Inserting pipe dream here, lol. Thank you for sharing your review of the collection.

I would like to see a video on the results of your research, not just your final opinion. I like the men’s collection pieces on the blue/ green leather. I like the bright pink dots on the black, except that I assume those bags are all epi, which I don’t love. Of all the pieces I’ve seen so far, I would most like to own the side trunk with the colored dots from the first drop.

Just watched your LV collaboration blog with the Artist of whom I don’t know how to spell her name. I really enjoyed this one. The yellow one at the end is, I agree very special one of a kind type. I’m curious if your friend will be able to be sent one? I wonder if you can follow up on that afterwards? A little side note here. I’ve ordered 2 dupes (I don’t think I would attempt to paint the real LVs) to try painting and doing this kind of thing myself with fabric paint. I’m currently looking for a good fabric paint that adheres well to coated canvas. If anyone reads this and can suggest a brand, please let me know. Anyways thank you, this was fun to watch. Looking forward to watching your next video episode.

With respect to those who like this collaboration, it leaves me cold and a little repulsed from some pieces. To me the pumpkins come off as kitschy. I can see people buying and carrying these in a smug "if you know, you know" gesture even if they don't understand the art.

This is an easy pass for me! The artwork and expression does not move or speak to me. Secondly, the designs do not comport with my own style. Lastly, as a black woman, I will not support this artist collaboration. However, I can respect other opinions and/or views.

Hi Autumn! Definitely a hard pass for me. I find this collection way to kitschy. Furthermore, the artists reverence doesn't sway me in anyway to purchase from the highly overpriced collaboration. As we know, art is 100% subjective.

Great review- but these are a Pass for me- not because of the artist but he art does not appeal to me-I know its deeper than its juvenile surface- but I would rather hang her art on my wall and not on my bag….
