So good to know there are genuinely good people who miraculously turn up with open hearts at just the right time ✨

Hi guys. I am binge watching your trip and wondering why you missed out Panama? Love the way you have put these videos together - the first one I watched you were in WA in the heat! Decided to start from the beginning. Where are you both now?? Thanks for sharing

We are in Cambodia now 😊 We had friends visiting us in Costa Rica so it was logistically easier for us to just pack up the bikes there.

@@louisaandtobi I sort of concluded that but wondered if you avoiding anything !! I have watched similar trips on motorcycles, being a biker myself. Very impressed with your footage and style.....what an achievement though. You must feel like you are nearly home now ! 😄

Hi Louisa and Tobi, I'm Mario born in Colombia, but I live in United States, in Florida, one day I 'll be glad to meet you, and my dream also is to travel all around the world by bicycle, but electric bicycle, jaja, so will be a good help to ride the bicycle 😃😃. O want to say yoi something, it's not better to ride for you an electric bicycle?? A hugs Mario
@louisaandtobi2 жыл бұрын
Hey! Electric bikes would be easier for sure, but we cycled through some really remote areas and we just wouldn’t be able to charge them everywhere.

Yes, most folks use a motorcycle or a horse ... not very ideal for cycling!

even if we travel by bike we don't talk to many people after all 😜

I m so glad i don t have to work so hard to feel fine ! Many years ago, i landed in Cartagena and drove north into Venezuela. Was there 2-3 weeks before having to turn back. Venezuela is one of my best souvenir. Too bad i couldn t do the whole country. I got attack in Venezuela but still, Colombia is the country i dislike the most into all those i ve been.
@louisaandtobi2 жыл бұрын
How come you disliked Colombia? It’s actually one of our favorite countries we’ve cycled so far.

@@louisaandtobi In Cartagena, i had to walk backward from restaurants because dogs were trying to eat me alive. A few places pissed me off because I'm a smoker. Outside the walls, Cartagena is too poor and dirty to my liking. Been advised to avoid being on the street after 9 because too dangerous. A girl was attack at knife point in Cartagena Walls. A tourist rented a room in a house but the room was visited while he was outside with the owner. Arrange trap for sure and he lost all his travel money. Couldn't find any nice deserted beach. Had to pay some money to leave my bike at private house while I was visiting Tayrona national park. The climbing was too hard and never found the nude beach. I like to just drive to deserted beaches but not possible in Colombia. When I came back from Venezuela, it was late at night and I needed to change US into local money and only one person agreeded to help. There were a few good things in Colombia but mostly from individuals and less than all the countries travelled.... for my personal preferences.Colombia doesn't bring back a lot of good memories. Tourists are stupid in Colombia!! At Tayrona national park, it's written in big ... No drugs. There's a check point and still with the warning, people have drug on them and get arrested and send back to their country!.
