Yeah, I never planned on this happening but it turned out kinda cool.

So happy to see Louise return to a home where she's truly appreciated.. In 1968 I was an Englishman newly married to a gorgeous California gal and my first car was a '65 Satellite with the sturdy 318 engine bought for $1,479 in Pasadena with 43,300 on the clock. How I wish I still had that car, she was a gem, a sweet car with no vices.. I drove her all.over the US for vacations, and business trips putting another 86,000 on her. I had to repaint the roof when the factory paint blistered a bit around her fifth birthday, but never had to touch the engine. She was still getting around 16 to the gallon on the highway on leaded premium when I traded her in for a 67 Jaguar XK-E..with the 3.8 liter in line six..Oh boy, was that ever an expensive.mistake! But I learned.my lesson and bought a '70 Plymouth Fury III Sport Coupe with the 383 engine... I never felt the connection with that car like the joy my Satellite gave me. Her name was Judy, just like my wife.

That's a great story John, I really like the E type jag as well. But who doesn't. Thanks for sharing.

That brake tool comes in very handy. Glad to see it back in use, after years in my toolbox.

I'm glad to have it Bob and thanks again. Way more leverage available than the off the shelf stuff.

Never hurts to buy on back. A few years ago, we had a '99 2 door Tahoe. We sold it to a guy in Indiana, and now recently we've been seeing it around where we live in Kentucky......I think it's trying to come back home.....😂

Funny, they say that the horse knows the way back to the barn.

I had a car like that subframed and dana and 850hp blown 440. It was fun. I kept the goodies and sold the shell to the son of the guy that bought it new.

Now that's a cool story. I'm considering sub frame connectors as well.

@Chuck_House_of_Mopar if your thinkin for the 65 you don't need it. 500hp and up and if you were racing all the time.

Rooster, not sure what you mean. The Satellite could use some different parts that would help with fuel economy and drivability. The added benefit is a few more ponies.

Glad you got her back, you will get it running good and not drive it in shitty weather.
