This was one of my grandmas favorite songs, along with Enya (Orinoco Flow) She passed away September 29th, of this year,(2023) and this was one of the songs played. I love you so much grandma.💜🪽

Whoever put this video together deserves an award. Beautiful imagery and colour tones. If it could be made into a calendar I'd hang it up in my study.

All of the worst of the 1980's wrapped into the theft of one Beethoven piece ...

At 56 years old, I still freaking LOVE this gorgeous song. I was 15 when it hit Top 40 radio and I've been obsessed with it ever since the first time I heard it. Simply haunting, poignant, and elegant while being melodic and easy. I was not your normal 15 year old boy obviously since most of them listened to AC/DC and Ozzy Osborne (who I now enjoy ironically) but I really enjoyed this type of music also.

I was travelling through along the River Murray in South Australia, sleeping in my car, and this tune (the Beethoven original) came on the radio, as it used to do at 9 a.m. every morning, for the start of Karl Hass 'adventures in classical music' program. I said to myself, that if I learned to play piano, I would learn this piece. About 2 months later, I bought an old piano, & learned this part within 3 months (not the whole thing, still can't do that). I absolutely love it too.

Extremely underrated and underappreciated song from the early '80s! My parents had it on a K-Tel various artists album! I was 10 in 1982 when it came out

Peaked at No. 46 on the Billboard Hot 100 and No. 59 on the U.K. Singles Chart in 1983. Was a hit in some other European countries as well. Pretty good tune.
