Nine months ago i didn’t knew your lessons. Sinds several weeks my mother and i enjoy enormously watching you painting and listening to your excellent explanation. We are really impressed by your talent and the softness of your voice. Now you can also put East of Flanders in Belgium on your European list. Thank you for your KZbin films and the bloopers at the and. Please keep on painting as long as possible. A lot of greetings, my mother ( Lieve: prenounced leave with saying the E at the and) end myself Saskia, with the A of Alaska.

So glad you took time out for your family Louise, always so important and becoming rarer as they grow up and go on with their own lives..everyone becomes busy busy busy..I just about have to make an appointment 6 months ahead to get a free weekend with mine 🤭🤭 thanks for this tutorial. I tried water recently but used acrylic...must say the soft flow of watercolour looks alot easier. But then you make everything look easy...I love it when you say " it only took a couple of hours" Im still fiddling weeks later....big thankyou and great effort👍🥰

I have watched sooo many unsatisfactory (to me, because of my paint style) water tutorials, and then I found you! Your tutorial is great, and I'll be trying this tomorrow, but with a gull on the water. Also, though I am really impressed with a good many of you watercolour artists, your style is very close to what I am trying to achieve. I'm really glad to have discovered your channel, thank you.

Louise, you are such a refreshingly wonderful teacher. You explain everything, the paper, the paints and brands, the importance of wetness levels, the types and brands of brushes, and most importantly, you explain why you make each decision - and then you demonstrate it. Your love of teaching and of watercolor comes through. I have all the supplies, but so much fear to begin.

Sooooo thrilled to see you painting a ‘seascape’ - I looove your style & process of painting but I’m only interested in painting landscapes, urban scenes or seascapes and I have been hoping and hoping since I first began following you that you’d paint a landscape etc., I’m really, REALLY surprised you chose to paint this on hot press paper as I’m sure you know the wonderful textures that can be achieved with cold press and especially rough paper, especially the effects from granulation as these papers are a match made in heaven for painting watercolour landscapes etc., I’m really curious to know how much of a difference there would have been had you painted this on cold press or rough paper…. thanks for doing this and please, PLEASE I’d love you to do more ‘scapes’….
