@@littlemisscool27 I second the Cambridge suggestion - moved nearby. Wouldn't go everyday but it's a nice trip. Anglesey Abbey is NT and lovely nearby and the Wimpole Estate has a cute little farm, also NT. In Cambridge itself, colleagues with slightly older kids like to go to Kettle's Yard but I don't know how much it has for Darcy's age.

How about Cambridge? Ely has a cathedral, river you can walk along with a lovely tearoom called Peacocks tearoom. Anglesey Abbey in Cambridgeshire is nice too, lovely gardens. Went to a friends wedding there once. I loved living in Cambridge for 7 years but moved back to Somerset last year. If you’re ever this way, you MUST visit Bath!

She's a good egg. I talk to her about money a LOT because I think it's weird schools don't teach anything about managing finances. I left school with no clue what to do with tax, salary, mortgage, rent, bills, overdrafts, loans etc so I'm trying to help her now! xxx

Okay now that I’ve had time to calm down and actually watch the video, omg LOUISE I love this. I love the fact that actual interested people come and visit our lovely town and find it so cute and exciting. Having lived in such a small, slow moving town for as long as I can really remember and having gone to school and everything here, it’s easy to forget the beauty of it all. The bridge you thought was so lovely is where I walked every day for school and the fact that you found such joy in it makes me so happy. I’m getting overly emosh about it all but idk you’re one of my faves so I’m going to gush over this. It feels very special for you to find so much joy and excitement in our little town so thank you for coming and showing it love! Stamford loves you!

Stratford upon Avon is a really cute place to go. It has nick nak shops, river, theatres, parks, Shakespeares home, markets, restaurants and pubs and a butterfly farm which is amazing you go in and loads of butterflies are around you and they can land on you. My question is how do you manage to always look so beautiful with 2 kids?

Oh and this is a bit of a treck, and, you would probably benefit from staying over night in one of the pretty little B and Bs' (so could get quite pricey) , but St.Ives in Cornwall is very pretty and is a lovely little town to explore with very picturesque little higgtel-pigglety narrow streets with three glorious beaches for Darcy and Pearl and lovely shops for you! 😘💕
