They asked my friend if he rode his bike to the DMV in Bossier City. He said yes. They said good enough for us and gave him his endorsement. Sadly he lost his life on the same bike a few years later.

Exact same test at the Harvey, LA dmv. Asked me do 5 figure 8s as big as I wanted to and stopped me on the 4th one and told me I passed. Written test was pretty easy too

For Louisiana, it's a whole lot easier to get your endorsement on a trike. For Monroe, all I had to do was make a complete block around the building and pull back into the parking lot.

Called the pineville dmv today about this. Getting my first bike Saturday. Had a million questions, Louisiana omv website has little to no info and all the covid mess took forever to get someone on the phone since the offices are closed. Lady told me make an appointment at the Alexandria dmv and do a figure 8 and that's it. Thought (it cant be that simple) so far it seems it is. Louisiana does have its perks. Thanks for the video.

Monroe, LA is 100% the easiest place to get your endorsement. Literally just make a block and if you can do that without tipping, you pass. The old woman doesn’t care at all. She walked back inside while I was making the block.

FYI… took the motorcycle riding test today in Livingston. Did 3 laps around the parking lot in one direction. Then 3 in the other direction. That was it.

Pretty simple. The one in Morgan city la. Made me ride forward in the parking lot make a turn and come back and then park.🤣 that was 1996. The test are pretty funny. For new bikers I suggest learning a lot in an empty lot. Practice practice practice. Great video bro

I was thinking of taking the tests and going to the DMV to do it on a weekday and do the motorcycle safety course later when I had enough time off of work on the weekend. Yes I took the written part here as well. I have to be honest; it was harder than I expected. I always ace my driving test with at least 90%, but not this one. It was 25 questions and you're only allowed to miss 5( I did just that when I took it). They have an online "cheat sheet" that you can purchase which gives you the top 50 hardest questions. I purchased it and of those 50, only about 5 were actually on the test, 5 questions I used common sense, and the other 15 I guessed. I screenshot the 50 questions so let me know if you want me to do a video to show them (save you $10). And yes they do offer 3D printing. There is only one store in Baton Rouge that offer it though. Kind of expensive if the piece require a lot of support material. That piece was about $65. Let me know if you have any more questions and thanks for watching!

Austin Prevost when I purchased my bike I was forced to get my license by my insurance company (progressive). They gave me about. 3 months to do so. They were the only company (out of 3) that allowed me to get insurance before the actual endorsement.

@@Fee.1 My reasons to get a scooter over a "motorcycle" I like the style better. Easier to get on and off as i'm 5'3 115 lbs. no having to shift gears which is a distraction I don't want while riding. Cheaper to purchase and maintain as i'm retired and have no income.

I'm looking to pick up a scooter for around 5 or 600. I should have enough cash left over to get the MC endorsement, registration, insurance and some riding gear esp helmet. I don't know that I can handle anything over a 150cc but don't need a 50cc cus I already have an electric bike that will do 35 mph but it's range sucks and I can't drive it in the traffic lanes. Looking to see if I can handle a 125cc or 150cc. Thats where i'm coning from.
