And when I watched this for the first time, on the 6th of July 2008, I didn’t realise that he would become one of the best singer-songwriters of my generation. I didn’t realise that only 2 years later, he’d join what was going to become the biggest boyband since The Beatles, at just 18. Then he’d hit the worst point of his life, I’d imagine. He hit it at just 23. One where there was so much pain and grief, the band went on hiatus, and he lost two very important family members. Yet, he made it through. Then just 5 years after hiatus, he’d bring out his own album. *Walls* . It took off, and brought peace to all that heard it, and he used the skill of writing music to express his guilt and his grief and emptiness and sadness but also the happiness and fulfilment. Then, just a few months later, he made his own music management company. To give small artists a better chance at success. He helped people such as an ex drug addict, who got well using music and therapy. He gave them a *chance* . Then, at 30 he released his second album, *Faith In The Future* . Another masterpiece. He has done two world tours as a solo artist and even more as a band-member. He has sold multiple millions of copies of each album and sold out London’s very own O2 arena. You sold out your home town arena. Doncaster Arena. So, Louis Tomlinson. You wanted my honest opinion? My honest opinion is that you will make it. You already have. You will continue to power through. Because you will look back and realise how far you have come. 16 year old Louis: “Who are you?” 32 year old Louis: “I’m you, only stronger.”

my opinion? Louis, you honestly saved me. You showed me the good in life and made my life something positive. You have grown so much and now you are solo touring the world, giving hundreds of thousands of people the same joy I felt at one of your concerts. You were always an amazing musician and most of all such an amazing person and I am so happy to have you be apart of my lifetime.
