If the court system is just, then Lexington PD should have to prove Shefler's guilt on all accounts he is charged with. Certainly, I would like to see where the officer was dragged according to his statement. If the LPD or prosecuting attorney are holding back exculpatory evidence from the defense, then the Judge should declare a mistrial. Innocent until proven guilty and so far, all I have seen by evidence is that Scottie was making a left-hand turn and a guy that looks like he really frequents a donut shop attacked his car. If any of the other officers had contact prior to the video showing Shefler making the left turn or was a witness to the claims of Detective Gillis, they should come forward. I'm seriously having a hard time believing with all the blue lights and uniformed officers, that none of them have footage of the entire interaction. If this all comes back to be BS, Shefler, Valhalla and Scottie's sponsors may need to sue for damages.
