glad rowan said what he said about making day 2 and whether or not that should guarantee top a chance at top 8. i was getting scolded on twitter for believing the same thing about making day 2 doesnt guarantee top cut. a lot of players were so mad and it felt ridiculous.

I think having a tie has been good for every tournament this year. A tie over a loss keeps you out of asym it seems. This tournament structure is just bad for Pokémon, idk why anyone wants less rounds when it seemed like we needed more

I think the tournament structure can be fixed with something as simple as cut to top 32 instead of top 8.

I think Lugia is only slightly unfavored vs don. If they amp t1, you bear them and they have no answer. I lost to gabe in round 10 because I misplayed 3 times game 2. Who knows what would have happened game 3. Even if terapagos goes first, If I don't have to squawk/lumineon/start deer, I should win the game. That happens a fair amount tho. I think playstyle does exist. It exists in sports. Kyrie has great handles and shaq used his size. They can't play each other's playstyles successfully. Our bodies don't matter as much but our brains do. Maybe you are an 85/100 on finding win conditions and 60/100 on sequencing. Probably pidgeot would be a better deck for you than Chien Pao. Playstyle is the style you can play best. Everyone brain is different.

I believe Terapagos wins if they go first almost 100% of the time, regardless of the lugia board. Take 2 T2 on a Lugia v and then look to punch a two prizer and 4 prize turn with briar + dusk on the following turn. I like your analysis on playstyle. In theory a 100/100 player would have no playstyle which is what I strive to be but to truly be 100% accurate is absurd.
