Hi Shaunna so happy to see your post this morning! I love your unique and quirky style. I watch a lot of home interiors content and I want you to know what you’re doing is so different to anything else I’ve seen and so refreshing! I know you struggle with your health sometimes and I know how hard it is to produce content when you are dealing with that but just know you are so appreciated!! You have really inspired me to go with what I love and to hell with trends. Thanks for creating and sharing your home with us. Also, your art is so good! With Love from Arizona in the US.

aw thankyou for your kind comment Naomi. it is nice to feel seen and appreciated. I love that I've inspired you to abandon trends, I definitely overthink those things too but I think the more you start to discover your own taste the more all your personal preferences starts to work together anyway 😉

The letter you framed turned out soooo good. I love how special it is. I have some old papers from my grandfather and I’ve been meaning to display them somehow, and this gave me good ideas!

I love seeing the evolution of your home through these videos. I am on maternity leave with a three week old baby and these have inspired me to think of projects to tackle while home with her. I look forward to more each month, thank you.

I love how the little postcard turned out on its serviette/napkin mount. If you are willing to cut the fabric, the stitched or woven border would look nice cut off and repurposed to bring another hint of the blue and turquoisey-teal somewhere else. It might be enough to cover a small matte board on another little picture in a frame in the living room - I liked the pattern of dashes. Thanks for sharing with us all.

that's a great idea! I did love the stitching too

I felt so uptight watching you dye your knitwear: "Won't it shrink?", "Dye! In a brand-new washing machine?" LOL!! Thank you for inspiring me to not worry so much! I like the rust color of the blanket.
@shaunnarochelle2 ай бұрын
oh but it did shrink ! :( I forgot to say that! But I loosened it again with cold water and hair conditioner and some manual stretching. it's also alpaca blend which is a little more flexible. and yeh I was a little nervous but the ritz website gives instructions how to wash and rinse your machine after.

The Dutch had a ship called Batavia which got shipwrecked out of WA near Abrolhos Islands and some managed to get to the mainland land. There is a museum in Fremantle WA about it. It was a real horror story, with the events that happened.

Have you thought about a mosaic on your coffee table? You can use cheap ceramic plates or tiles and break them. I’ve wanted to do that with a table lately. Or just tile it.
