Hope I'm not asking a crazy question here but what is making the water the greenish color like that, and secondly these are some of the best videos I have seen in a really long time, these would look awesome on a big projection screen television, the biggest you can buy...LOL

I can pretty much guarantee that the water was not actually that color. The video has been enhanced to make the colors appear more saturated.

If you watch it in 1080p, on a good HD monitor I can guarantee you that the water was that color. If you watch it on a mobile phone in 360p or 480p, it does look unreal.

I'm sure the water was very clear and green but it's obvious from the surrounding landscape and sky that the colors are over saturated. If you are claiming that this wasn't done is post processing then your camera is not reproducing natural colors correctly.

Raoul Borans the camera shoots in raw where the picture is flat and you need to work on the footage in post. You need to watch it in full HD on a big monitor. If you think the color is fake, you need to visit this river called Petrohue near Ensenada village or ask someone who has actually been there. The colors of the river are like these, this is caused by the volcanic sediments reacting to oxygen in the water.

Super footage from your pre-drone days. Keep up the good work. 2 questions...no 3: 1. Did you get to drink any of that water while you were filming? 2. Did you encounter any dangerous animals here or in any of the other vids? I would imagine there could be an issue with bears or lions or snakes in South America. 3. Were you prepared to deal with dangerous wildlife?

I drink water from mountain streams which is so tasty. Not from this river though even though it is crystal clear. No there are no dangers here at all in Patagonia, well .... except for the puma but it is no chance it can attack adults. Never happened in these parts. Bears and wolves don't live here, foxes yes, plenty.

I agree. Plus, when I play relaxing music, I always play it softer than other music, so this means I can't hear the river at all. I would prefer the opposite, with the river being twice as loud as the music. Hopefully the channel will make a new vid with the sound adjusted.

People have complained for years (see below) about the music being loud, but clearly their comments have fallen on deaf ears. It's really too bad, because many people are looking for videos to transport them away from the wear and tear of city life. The sounds coming from a river can be very relaxing. BTW, I have three music degrees (Bbmus, MMus, PhD), so it's not that I dislike music per se. It's just extremely inappropriate here.

There are 2 volcanoes nearby and many mountains. The volcanoes seen from the river are Osorno and Calbuco.
