"宸汐缘" is a beautiful love story directed by Lin Yufen, starring Zhang Zhen and Ni Ni. It tells the story of the God of War and the love of the girl.
After the goddess of war was slumbered for the seal of the demon god thousands of years ago, he suddenly awakened because of the misunderstanding of the girl’s coffin. During the process of getting along, the two became more and more grateful because they appreciate each other. The coffin was found to be born with suffocating suffocation, and this suffocating gas is just the magical medicine of the demon. "Love And Destiny" is directed by Lam Yuk-Fan, Chang Chen and Ni Ni starred in the costume drama.
It tells the love story between the God and the fairy: After falling into sleep for thousands of years, the God of Warrior Jiu Chen was awakened by a Goddess named Ling Xi. Doubting Ling Xi's identity, Jiu Chen kept her as his maid. The Two began to grow affections for each other after spending time together. Ling Xi was found to be born cursed with an ominous spirit, which may undo the spell of the Ghost Lord. This curse caused great difficulties to Jiu Chen and Ling Xi's relationship. Jiu Chen's help, Ling Xi gained her new life as the Princess of Shanling Tribe. After all the hardships, when the two were about to harvest love, the Ghost Lord undid the spell and became free again. The world was plagued and people of all Tribes suffered greatly. To ensure the peace of the world, Jiu Chen jumped into Fulingyuan to lock up all the demons...

A few words about this series if you are wondering whether it is worth spending time watching these 60 episodes. Love and Destiny is a beautiful and very mature work. Even though the main plot seems trivial, it is told in an extraordinary way. Love, duty, destiny, choices... It is a part of our lives... No matter how many times we talk about love, a new one will be born tomorrow, another one the day after tomorrow... The world is driven by love, we wouldn't survive if it weren't for it... That's why the topic of love and the dilemmas associated with it are so topical. The script of the series is very mature and coherent, the actors were chosen extremely well, the scenery is beautiful, the music is moving. Sometimes I miss something because of the subtitles, so every time I watch this series again, I find something new in it. Love and Destiny is worth every minute you spend watching. I really encourage you! I will also mention that I am absolutely not a fan of Chinese series, they are not my style, this one is one of a kind. This is top 1 on the list of everything I've ever watched.

I'm gunna give a summary (more of a play-by-play lol) cause I tried translating for this channel twice and both took hours, but they never got approved to be published. So at the start, Ling Xi has a reoccurring dream of the God of War killing countless number of people both good and bad, but in the history book she's reading, it states that the God of War fought against the Ghost Lord and sealed him. She doesn't understand why her dream and what's written in the history book have such a large discrepancy. She goes to her father to discuss her dream, but her father brushes her off. Instead, her father tells her to give the medicine he just created to Cheng Yan to give to high immortal Liu Yun. Ling Xi tells her father that she'll personally deliver it to the high immortal, but her father won't let her and tells her to just give it to Cheng Yan to deliver instead. Her father tells her that the medicine won't be useful if too much time passes. She goes to find Cheng Yan, but can't seem to locate him. Using the excuse that the medicine will lose its effect soon, she decides to go deliver it personally to the high immortal despite her father's words. During the journey, she explains that she's a bird spirit who has lived in the peach blossom forest her entire life. She recounts how her father has never allowed her to leave the forest and she's always yearned to go out and travel. Ling Xi arrives to the Heavenly Palace, but the guards refuse to let her in. While the guards become distracted by the tree dissipating, she sneaks in using her bird form. In the Heavenly Palace, Si Ming is looking for Yun Feng and can't seem to find him. Cut back to Ling Xi, she can't seem to find the high immortal she's searching for. She ends up overhearing Si Ming talking about how Tianlei Zhengjun has to endure 9 heavenly lightning strikes and how one wrong move, and he could perish. Out of curiosity, Ling Xi goes up to Si Ming and asks him who Tianlei Zhengjun is. At this moment, Yun Feng appears and states that Tianlei Zhengjun is the ugliest, darkest one here. Ling Xi looks up and immediately points out who she thinks Tianlei Zhengjun is, which causes Yun Feng to be impressed that she so quickly and accurately guessed it. He states that they have similar sights (in other words, they both have the same standards of who's ugly lol). Ling Xi says that she overheard that Tianlei Zhengjun was ascending to become a God and she was asking the God of what. Yun Feng informs her that he's going to become the God of War. She is shocked that he's going to become the God of War and mumbles that it seems they're so lacking in people that apparently anyone can become the God of War nowadays. Yun Feng seems amused by this. Suddenly, Ling Xi sees the guards and realizes they're probably looking for her so she quickly hands the medicine over to Yun Feng and tells him to find the high immortal Liu Yun and hand it to him. She takes her leave and the guards chase her. The other three seem amused by her antics and wonder how she snuck in. As she flies off, she grumbles that she only wanted to deliver medicine and doesn't understand why they have to chase her. She gets hit and falls into a Frozen Palace (note that idk how to accurately translate the location names -_-) and the guards decide to go back and report on the matter, because if she really went in, then it would be a huge crime (guess its a sacred place). Back to the ascension ceremony, Tianlei is getting his lightning strikes and Yun Feng is on the side with Si Ming discussing how Tianlei seems to be having a tough time ascending. Yun Feng brags that his senior, Jiu Chen, did it so easily and Si Ming agrees and states that Jiu Chen is indeed like no other. Continued in comments... (26:00) Back at the Peach Blossom Forest, Cheng Yan spots his older sister and asks her why she's back since she's supposed to be at the Heavenly Palace. Qing Yao (the older sis) ties her brother up and says it's punishment for not looking after Ling Xi. Qing Yao wakes her master up and tells him that Ling Xi's been captured by the Heavenly Palace. He asks why Ling Xi is captured and Qing Yao states that she heard Ling Xi broke into the Frozen Palace. The two rush to the Heavenly Palace. Back at the heavenly palace, Jiu Chen greets the Heavenly Lord. The Heavenly Lord remanences that it's been 50,000 years and that the last time they met was when Jiu Chen was fighting the war. The Heavenly Lord recounts how Jiu Chen was badly injured and the Heavenly Lord was afraid that he wouldn't be able to survive this time. The Heavenly Lord states that he's glad he's back. As they greet the Lord, he states that it's a blessing that The God of War, Jiu Chen, is able to return to them. The Heavenly Lord notes that TianLei had to endure 8 lightning strikes today and that he went to battle the monster right after. He asks if he would like for him to call a doctor. Yun Feng chimes in that it was indeed lucky that his senior, Jiu Chen, made it back in time or else he's not sure if the monster would have been defeated, but that Tianlei should certainly seek medical attention (shaaaaaddddeeeee). Tianlei asks if Yun Feng is insinuating that he would not have been able to defeat the monster had Jiu Chen not appeared. Yun Feng says innocently that he said no such thing, but that everyone in attendance witnessed what happened today so he need not say more. The Heavenly Lord tells Yun Feng that Tianlei is still Yun Feng's senior so he shouldn't be so rude. Tianlei says that he has something to report and tells them to bring the girl in. Ling Xi tells the Lord her name, but before she tells him where she's from, she says that it was all on her and that it has nothing to do with her father. The Heavenly Lord (now HL for short), asks who her father is. She says that she acted alone in trespassing and is willing to receive punishment, but does not disclose her father's name. Tianlei states that she has committed a huge crime, as Ling Xi responds that she doesn't really know what happened today. Tianlei accuses her of working with the TianTun monster and says that she must be evil. Ling Xi says that he shouldn't accuse her of such things just because he couldn't defeat the monster and that it was a fluke that the monster saved her. Tianlei won't have it, so Ling Xi calls him rude and says that it's no wonder Yun Feng doesn't like him. Tianlei tells the HL that the girl won't tell the truth and tells the soldiers to take her away. HL tells them to stop and asks why she went to the Frozen Palace. She says she fell there and he asks her if she entered. She says she didn't, but HL tells her that it's a sacred place of rest for the Heavenly realm (or something to that effect). She still denies that she entered, so HL asks Jiu Chen if he saw her there and he says never (aw, he covered for her). Tianlei is unconvinced and reiterates everything that happened today and says that it can't be a coincidence and that he'd like to go interrogate the girl himself to get the truth. HL questions her again and says that if she doesn't tell him who she is and where she's from, then she'll really be in trouble. He then asks what her relationship with the monster is and she says that she has zero relation to the monster. HL asks why the monster was so close with her then. Just then, her father yell out to let him in. Her father and senior sister enter. Her father informs the HL that he's already an old man and asks if the HL is really going to take a daughter away from an old man. Her father asks TianLei why must he be so mean to her daughter and turns to the HL and recounts how his bird tribe fought side by side with the Heavenly Palace during the war with the Ghost Tribe and ended up nearly extinct. Now that a member of his poor tribe (that sacrificed so much) just wanted to take a look at a sacred place, must she be punished so strictly. The HL tries to calm him down and says that he was unaware of the girl's background, but now that he knows, he wont punish her. The father thanks the HL and tells his daughter to do the same. Tianlei tells the father not to be so happy just yet and that she still hasn't explained why the monster and her were so chummy. The father refutes that his daughter is such a pretty and loving girl and asks who wouldn't like her. He explains that the monster is still a sacred monster and of course the monster would also fall for his daughters charm and good looks. Tianlei wont take it and still suspects Ling Xi. Her father asks how such a small young girl free the monster and cause such a mess. He accuses Tianlei of blaming her unjustly just because he himself wasn't able to defeat the monster. He goes on to say that thank goodness Jiu Chen is already dead of else he'd be turning in his grave at how weak and useless everyone has become. Jiu Chen then greets the father and the father is shocked that he's actually alive. He asks how he's still alive and wants to check him to see how he could've survived, but Qing Yao prevent it since it's inappropriate especially in front of the HL. The father promises the HL that he'll take his daughter back to the Peach Blossom forest and strictly lecture her as to not cause anymore trouble. He also promises that she'll never step foot out of the forest again. Jiu Chen interrupts and says that since he was injured so heavily, he needs someone with medicinal knowledge to take care of him as he recovers. He explains that since he and Ling Xi had such good fate to meet, he would like for her to help him. Her father immediately refuses citing that his daughter has zero medical knowledge. Jiu Chen says it's fine. Her father keeps giving excuses on how she's bad tempered and whatnot and Jiu Chen keeps saying that it's fine. Jiu Chen asks if there's a reason the father keeps refusing and the father says no. HL asks Ling Xi if she wants to take care of Jiu Chen and that it's ultimately her decision. She agrees to it. END.

I really don’t understand why people were complaining about Chang Chen’s age. I think he was perfect for the role, im currently rewatching the series after its finish on Friday and couldn’t be more happy that he played Jiu Chen. And for those complaining about the age gap, I hope you know that Chen Kun who played opposite of NiNi in The Rise of Phoenixes is also 12 years older than her and yet y’all want them to date. In fact Chen Kun is born in the same year as Chang Chen and is a couple of months older.

Am watching this for talented actor Chang Chen ,glad they cast Nini with him,this new pairing is so good..no complaints at all after watching the whole drama...who cares about age and the criticisms on Chang Chen? Zhang Chen is not the typical handsome guy that's why. I have to admit his costumes and makeup in this drama doesnt look very appealing at first-sight. But for me, I never find Chen Kun attractive also. Handsome yes, but not attractive. Zhang chen has that mature and stoic characteristics needing for the role. The more you watching him, the more you find him really "handsome". Young kids (born in 2000s) nowadays are too obsessed with the kind of eye-candy Kpop looking that they hardly see the beauty of a mature man. Maybe in another 10 years they may learn to appreciate this film more.

各位仙友，我刚看完结局又回来重看一遍😂一开始真的不习惯倪妮张震这样的长相还有年纪演仙侠剧，觉得不是特别吸引人，但是演员演技真的有看头，再加剧情还算有趣，就一直看着，看到十集左右就开始中毒了，到后来中毒越来越深，不可自拔，我还算个自律的人，但只要有时间就看，一个星期就刷完了，演员演技太棒了，就是神尊笑的时候有时有点尬萌😂绷着脸的时候迷死人，张震之后别人就别再演神尊战神了，会被比得很惨

I can literally promise you, I'm never getting over this drama. This drama is just AMAZING. This drama is funny, beautiful, heart warming and breaking. The acting was absolutely amazing and the actors were perfect for they're roles. I had doubts about watching it at first because of the little information you could find of it. But in the end i am so happy i watched it. I have watched over 200 dramas in the last few years and i can say this is one of the best, no it is the best. I'd say if you are thinking about watching it you absolutely should because it is a huge masterpiece.

這齣片太好了我要強烈安利 首先，結局沒有BE!看過太多前甜後虐(或爛尾)的片，這齣不!B!E! 再來演員部分我覺得非常棒，原本以為張震的顏似乎不太符合我對仙俠片的印象，但看完之後就真香了，你震哥就是你震哥，演技在線沒話說，符合劇中戰神形象，沉穩，威嚴，泰山崩於前而色不變的可靠，但對女主一個眼神都可以看出綿綿不絕的情意，把性命給天下蒼生，把心給女主一人(物理)，看著冰山融化(物理)，不香嗎!! 倪妮的顏我大愛，而且演技太好了，可以演可愛、溫柔、魅惑、穩重，一齣戲把不同時期的肢體、眼神、都詮釋得很好。我真的很珍惜他們兩位一起拍這齣片，有他們演技讓這齣片的劇情推動得更昇華。劇本本身也許算"老套"但是邏輯在線，台詞有內容，而且三觀很正，很溫柔的劇本QQ，藉由這部戲教導善待他人、勇敢、善良、堅持，就連反派都很有事業心，把自己的反派角色經營得很好，劇中人物不是只有好人、壞人，而是有看似好人但性格扭曲，看似壞人但有自己的無奈而漸漸走上不歸路，也許有些老生常談，但我認為在現在很多甜寵或仙俠劇中是滿難得的，邊甜邊教做人，簡單但有重點，很棒!!!

After watching hundreds of C-dramas, K-dramas etc. this is the best C-drama I have seen so far. The ML and FL are perfect for their roles, the set design, scenery, all superb. The story is magical, and beautiful in its own unique way. Director Lin Yufen is in a class of her own. I have found her excellent in other dramas too, but this is one of her best ones.

I agree. Best one so far. The two lead characters where perfect together!! The chemistry, their looks just like they were meant to be. That was an awesome love story. She would do anything to try and protect him no matter her powers or rank. When do you guys think Jiu Chen realized he had feelings for her or was in love with her?? Remember the episode where Ling Xi sister said there wasn't anything she could do about the problem in his heart?? Episode 3!

Nini and Chang Chen have been most appropriately chosen for their roles. Superb performance by both. She is enchanting and he being one of the high Gods protecting the heavenly realm is a reserve, resolute, fierce and strong defender. Can’t have a light hearted stripling young fella for that role, as the greatest defender of Heaven.

This is the BEST DRAMA that I ever watch in Chinese. Best in main actor, best in main actress and best in supporting role. This drama has best cinematography, plotting; costume, design and each role of character are well written. I watch a lot of C-drama but this is No.1 that will make your pump all the way to Ep 60. Well worth to watch during quarantine. Highly recommend,.

This is an excellent drama, excellent cast and beautiful cinematography. Fans of TMOPB will NOT be disappointed at all as it took me a long time to find another drama to be as awesome as that, and Love & Destiny fits the bill perfectly! I'm glad they have casted a matured actor to play the God of War as he did a magnificent job in portraying the role.

I’m on 22nd episode. This show will grow on you if you keep watching. At first, I wasn’t too much of a fan of the male and female lead choices. However, as the development of the story goes, I’m glad the Director choose these two and no others. It made perfect sense now why these two are chosen to work on the show together. The acting, the costumes, their looks made you fully believe the characters and the love story the Director tries to create. For those who’re negative with the lead actor and actress, you need to give them a chance until at least episode 20 to make a final call.

@@mchen4580 宸汐緣男女主角演得都好好，配角演的也不錯，劇情服化也都好，琉璃我也有看，也好喜歡，但琉璃的女主角有時候演的真的無法讓人共情，司鳳演的太好了，常常跟著劇情哭得稀裡嘩啦的時候，鏡頭轉到女主，就好像硬生生被切換頻道一樣，整個情緒無法跟著女主共鳴，這是唯一敗筆的地方，不然整體都很棒，目前琉璃跟宸汐緣是我覺得最好看的兩部仙俠劇！
