Does anyone know if this is true? On November 24, 2014, a representative for Weinstein confirmed a sequel. On December 1, 2014 it was announced the sequel would get a new director and cast, with Phoebe Tonkin (Vampire Diaries) taking on the lead role of Rose Hathaway, and Taylor Momsen (Gossip Girl) set to portray Lissa Dragomir. It was later announced that Dominic Sherwood would retain his role as Christian Ozera, and that Ben Barnes (Dorian Gray, The Big Wedding) was in final negotiations to play Dimitri Belikov. Piers Ashworth confirmed the news on December 5, 2014.
