10:30 The comment by Serie about her mana means that she is also suppressing her mana just like Frieren does but nobody ever noticed it because her suppressed mana is as big as Frieren´s fully unleashed mana. If Serie would unleash her full mana it most likely would engulf half the city or more. And other mages are already frightened of her mana even when she hides it. So she was disappointed that her student Lernen noticed that Frieren was hiding her real mana by seeing the tiny fluctuations in it but not hers. Thats why she is so impressed by Fern at the end, the first person to ever notice her mana fluctuations.

Which is in itself an insane feat. That means its likely Fern has (potentially based on what I've seen and what is explained in the anime) the GREATEST mana control of any mage that ever lived or some ish.

Wow! Thanks for clearing that up for us, we wish we had understood it the first time. That says even more about Serie... it's terrifying not knowing how strong she really is. Her repressed mana is equal to Frieren's unleashed mana... that's insane!

@@Davinci_and_Bruixa It's *heavily* Implied by both her own comments in the show and other things that Serie is *older than Human civilization* and that she's the *one* person in living history that actually remembers the Goddess when she walked the earth.

10:29 Serie is also supressing her mana. Lernen said that Frieren's is equal to hers, but if Serie is suppressing mana as well, then what we see must be a fraction.

Nice reaction👍️✨ This show's animation drawing is by MADHOUSE, a well-established studio founded more than 50 years ago. As you can see, the drawing ability is high and stable, they are just as popular as MAPPA and others and are constantly working on more productions, so it will inevitably be several years before we get to see season 2. Incidentally, the founder of MAPPA was one of the former founding members of MADHOUSE.

First of all, the reason why Frieren tried to fix the cane for Fern is probably because Frieren is kind. Richter was able to fix the broken wand. Richter is a very capable man. Heiter told Fern, "But there is one good thing about her. She'll worry about you and care for you to make up for it." This shows that in Season 1, Frieren does not yet fully understand humans, but it does not mean that Frieren is not kind to humans. I hope that in the future Frieren will understand humans better. I think this number of stories is amazing and the most beautiful story in Frieren history (in Season 1). The first one is about the fluctuations in mana. What's amazing is that Lernen notices the fluctuations in Frieren's mana. What's even more amazing is that Fern noticed the fluctuations in serie's mana. Perhaps Serie was limiting mana. And the story goes that Fern saw through it, the fluctuation of Serie's mana. From what I saw, it seemed like Serie had far more mana than Frieren. The fluctuation of mana is probably related to the strength of mana. Another thing is that when Himmel was still a child, Frieren showed him the magic to make a flower field appear. I think Himmel was already in love with Frieren from around this time. In that case, Himmel is extremely single-minded. It was also in episode 14, but it may have been a tragedy that Frieren didn't realize Himmel's feelings while Himmel was still alive. I think the reason Frieren failed is because so many others passed the second exam. Normally, she should have the skills of a first-class mage.

I definitely think Himmel fell in love with Frieren that day when he saw her for the first time... 😍 I believe and hope that this entire journey will end with Frieren fully understanding human feelings, but especially the feelings Himmel has for her, and the ones she has for Himmel without even realizing it. I can’t wait to get to that moment! ❤❤
