We have that celebration of first day of summer in Iranian ancient culture , called chelleye tabestan or abpashunak چله ی تابستان، آبپاشونک. ... then we have a much more important ceremony after 10 days called Tirgan جشن تیرگان ... watching this film reminds me of that and how our ancestors used every opportunity to gather and appreciate the life ❤

I Loved It. I Am An Artist By Profession, More Of Painter And As A Kid I Was Dreaming To Live In A Place Exactly Like This And Paint All The Time. Watching This Movie It Made Me Want To Take A Long Walk (More Of As Permanent Trip) To Visit This Place, Get Inspired Again And Maybe Moved There If This Place Were Actually A Real Location.

Summerside was heavily inspired by the British Columbian city of Maple Ridge Canada, just east of Vancouver. Most of the scenes, including the breathtaking scenery of the lakes were shot on Maple Ridge. Some of the scenes were also shot o. The British Columbian city of Kelowna, Canada. Kelowna is a place pretty well known forb portraying the beauty of mother nature, as it is located on Lake Okanagan in Okanagan Valley Canada around 150 miles slightly nth east of Maple Ridge just east of Vancouver. Happy travels. I researched where the movie was filmed as I wanted to know too. Way too far away across an ocean for me, but hope you make it there. Blessings your way.

I understand that feeling of everything being fragile - I’ve not lost people through death but the family dynamic is all split up and nothing that was, is anymore. Birthday parties, Christmas traditions, having fun with my children etc. I am still constantly worrying about everything falling apart even though there’s not much left too.

Here's a couple of questions to all the viewers here who were born and raised in the US, if I may … I'm a Russian guy who is planning on taking a month-long vacation trip to the US for the first time ... My American buddies invited me over and told me that they could offer me a rent-free place to stay in a suburb of San Diego, California, and in downtown Austin, Texas ... Being on a tight budget, I would be able to visit only one of those states ... Which of them do you think I should choose and why? My main interests are practicing my American English with native speakers, visiting natural wonders and meeting single women searching for a life partner. I sure hope that American women are as nice, caring and family oriented as they are portrayed in all those Hallmark movies. Also, my friends suggested that I learn to use some US slang or I won’t be able to communicate with the local residents on a proper level but I’m not sure if it’s worth the effort … Won’t Americans be trying to express their thoughts in plain English seeing that they are dealing with a foreigner? Your advice would be greatly appreciated ... * Moscow, Russia
