I think the reason we gringos put a pretty high value on Gabriel is because of the following in my opinion. 1. He sings these iconic songs in English. Duh!!! 2. His impeccable interpretation and sensitivity to the artistry of these songs are incredible 3. This was the music he grew up listening to so he gets it. 4. Gabriel can sing his face off!!! You saw his audition on AGT!!! in every phase of that audition he endeared himself to that audience and he did it almost unknowingly. That audience was so ready to root for this guy even before he began to sing!!! Bottomline...he charmed his way into the hearts of the American audience. When Sophia said it was a perfect audition she was right. It was perfect even with a slight mistake towards the end of his song. Go figure!!! He will end up having a huge fan base from the United States. Will he win AGT? I don't know, but he has won over the hearts of Americans and the rest of the world. You can't put a price on brilliance.❤

That "failure" by the end of Run To You was due to the fact that it was a short version (AGT's decision), and at that point, the audience was on their feet, so loud, shouting and applauding, that he couldn't hear the base anymore. The stage sound volume was not high enough. He ended up by missing the cut. The verse "Tell me" came out as just a "Te". Were he not a good and well prepared singer, a disaster could have happened. So he jumped to the final "...Will you stay?...". Totally acceptable. There was no real failure as goin ' outta key, or not sustaining a high note, nor shaking his voice in any unpleasant way whatsoever. Those failures actually did happen on AGT this year. The judges and fans however didn't seem to care much about them...Wonder why!?... In time, Simon asked him to sing another song (just like he did with Putri), and it was a total freaking bomb 💥 People went crazy. Now, why is it that we don't have it on that Golden Buzzer AGT video? I know why, but I'm not gonna say a thing aboutit...for now 😉 😢 Peace Out 🤙🏽

Yup!!! We Gringos sure do. He's everything and more. The American Audience has embraced this guy with open arms. You saw the reaction of the audience at his AGT audition. It was one of the loudest and instantaneous rounds of applause I've ever seen on AGT and I've watched quite a lot of it. There was no way they were going to remain in their seats after that. The funny thing is Gabriel just gave them a small taste of what he could do. Pull out the stops Gabriel. Give them something that will blow their collective minds. Let's Go Bro!!!

@@eldynefelix Beeeem errado? Não forces. Para tu comentares isso, tenho certeza de que não falas inglês. Ele melhorou bastante na pronúncia nos últimos meses. Eu entendo o que ele canta. Nos primeiros vídeos, ele realmente tinham uma pronúncia falha, mas agora ele está bem. Tenho certeza de que ele anda a estudar.

@@eldynefelix eu ouvi alguns dos estrangeiros falar isso na reação, mas eles também afirmam não se importarem muito com isso, pois sabe que não é nossa primeira língua. Inclusive, alguns até gostam do que chamam de "sotaque"...ehehheh misturou o sotaque mineiro ao falar inglês.... está vendo como mineiro tem sotaque! ehheehh
