People do not fear death: they fear either the pain or the loss of material value. I think when both learned and enlightened individuals speak of 'overcoming the fear of death', they speak of the death of Ego. The 'I' of an individual, the congregation of all the qualities that creates the illusion of individuality and separateness from the Brahman. Brahman exists in and is everything: from the smallest atom to the largest of celestial bodies, and even those substances that humanity is yet to discover. It is both the material and the essence of all that we see and feel. Everything in this universe (visible and beyond) is formed by the vibration of atoms. Even when atoms stop vibrating, they still exist. So as long as the building blocks of all life exist, there is no death. We define death as the cessation of existence. Therefore, when someone ceases to consider themselves different or superior from their surroundings, they automatically lose all fear of death. Because if we exist in everything and everywhere, where is the dissolution? Where is the death? What even becomes of the concept of death? Death is the greatest teacher of mankind because it enlightens us about the non-permanence of material substances. Our bodies, families, societies, structures, entire civilizations are destined to meet their end someday. Death teaches us how futile and childish our paranoia over preservation of such transient substances is. It all may seem very gloomy and discouraging, but to grasp what death is truly trying to teach us we must proper ourselves out of the misery. Our true goal must be progress in the spiritual plane of existence, only then can we truly experience the bliss and joy of life. Otherwise, we will waste away trying to chase one transient goal after another and engaging in war and conflict. I have just begun my journey towards spiritual knowledge, so forgive me if I say something factually incorrect. This is simply my interpretation of all that I have read. 🙏🏻

Swamiji, Please do not take it otherwise. মানুষ = মান + হুঁশ মান= Dignity/Standard/মর্যাদা /knowledge about true status( স্ট্যাটাস) হুঁশ = True or Real Sense/ Conscience/ Viveka/ Knowledge (জ্ঞান ) . CONSCIOUSNESS is not appropriate translation of হুঁশ. He who is fully aware of his highest dignity as a human being is মানুষ।
