From what I remember in a previous episode, I think they are binging this all in a day, so by the time they see all the comments annoyed by him trying to find meaning, they’ve already binged all the episodes. Also because they are trying to gun through it all, their mindset is similar in all episodes because they started with that vibe and continued with it

@@itsnaughty653 finding the interpretation versus the writers intention are two different things. Their interpretation should be quick and at face value, especially for a short story. But they're dwelling on the writers intent and making it more complicated than it needs to be. Not everything is an in-depth philosophical study. Some of these are just intended to entertain without any deep meaning.

There's nothing wrong in trying to find meaning in a piece of art Chris. Some can hold philosophical meanings n could be pretty interesting. So if you watch stuff for the sake of it, it's okay, so is the rest who try to find a message,a meaning or even the path to which a design has been made under entertainment.

The CGI on that second short was pretty amazing with the face capture. Critics complain about the "uncanny valley" effect but I felt every bit of that characters emotion in that situation. I think we are VERY close to a blockbuster CGI film in this style, someone just needs to have the ambition and financial backing to do it.

14:35 - There are a couple of things that stretch reality. - The backpack would most likely be designed as detachable as it's a separate booster kit so the person can decouple in case of emergencies (she could've used that for momentum, but the designers made the pack integrated into the suit) - One can not rip their arm off, even when 'damaged', the brain won't let you. Try biting your finger off, brain will lock your jaw - The arm would not freeze as there is nowhere for the heat to dissipate. Actually, it would be the complete opposite if the skin was exposed to the sunlight, her skin would most likely suffer severe burns - And yes, person would not go EVA without a safety line in the first place

In space where there is no friction of floor that you are standing on/resistance of atmosphere that dampens your motion drastically, if you throw something in a direction you are going to experience the same amount of momentum in opposite direction. In case of thrusters this principle works because you are throwing out/thrusting hot gases of fuel which have some mass and in return your body will experience a reaction force which thrusts you and thrusts a rocket in case of a rocket(laws of physics works the same). 18:27 Your doubt is if you do a "huh" with your hand, 0kg of mass has been thrown/left from your system(body) so your body wont be experiencing any force backwards, you will simply be stretching your hand in space vacuum without moving in your desired direction. Centre of mass definition- (average point at which you complete body's mass can be averaged out or said to be present; Its an imaginary mathematical point, can be present outside the initial body as well depending upon configuration of a body for example a ring's COM is at the centre of it which is not physically the part of the ring ) Most easiest way to understand is through Centre of mass(COM) concept. For the astronaut in space you may consider the initial centre of mass to be present within his body at her body's centre. So when she threw a part of her body like first her suit gloves then her hand the other part of the body(body except hand and glove) needs to move in the exact backward direction with same momentum so that the centre of mass remains in that exact point in space where it was before throwing. Therefore the other part will be compelled to move backward. You always need to detach some mass from your anstronaut suit cum body system to gain some momentum. Huh(slight push) with your hand outward slightly pushed your other part in opposite direction but when you pulled your hand back into position then your other part of the body also got pulled back near to COM to keep the COM at the same place. Even when you are swimming in pool, you are actually pushing back pool water which gives you that much push in forward direction but in vacuum of space there is nothing to push. Ig Achara will make you understand after reading this.
@kratosGOW
@kratosGOW 2 жыл бұрын
Hey Jaby! The 3rd law of motion from Newton can only work if the force you apply in the opposite direction to a mass. Even when you think about a balloon, for instance, the air inside the balloon takes that force one side so that the balloon can go forward. Force is just an acceleration applied to a mass. No mass, no force. That’s why she had to throw something out every time.

18:32 on space station that is filled with air you can float in the middle of the room and flap your hand and it would work like some sort of small inefficient wings because your hands are pushing the air that is around you in specific direction. In space there is nothing for you to push back in order for you to move forward or anywhere else for that matter so you need to throw something that was on you or part of your mass in one direction and you will go in the opposite direction. Every action has equal and opposite reaction. You throw 3kg of arm mass in one direction going 10 km/h and your whole body that is 60kg goes in the opposite direction traveling at 0.5 km/h because you have 20 times more mass than the thing you threw away (60kg divided by 3kg is 20, 10 km/s divided by 20 is 0.5 km/h). Physics is amazing!

for the all 1 million comments here crying loud saying "not everything has a meaning" I am dropping this comment . Listen : In 2 hour long movie or a long story , the meaning of everything is well established , but in a short story everything is packed up . Sometimes writer uses "symbolism, references , ornaments " to explain big things, but sometimes he just wants to enjoy . But how will you reach to that conclusion ? tell me. Tell me : "how you gonna know if it has a meaning if you don't even think a little bit?" I agree , May be it doesn't have a meaning , may it's for the love of art and meant to be enjoyed . BUT BUT BUT "If a little peace of art is compressed in small length for exploration , why do you guys think we shouldn't look for meaning in the first place ? may be we won't find any meaning, that's fine , but that's secondary" The statement / conclusion :- "Everything doesn't have a meaning" is not established until you look for a meaning with all your effort.

Someone else was filming the whole thing unfold. But again, people don't realize how dangerous animals in the wild are and how they behave. Someone mentioned irl being different from a Disney movie, which I thohght was funny. Idk why people would just walk up to random animals and try to pet them. Especially larger beasts lol I also heard a lot of people mention Yosemite national park. I think someone in the comment section I was reading worked there or still does, and they said you'd be surprised how stupid people are what they get close to wild Buffalo to try to pet, ride, or pose next to them, and they're over a thousand pounds and can gravely hurt them 🤷😐

Trying to make perfect sense of every artwork as a whole and not take pleasure in the brushstrokes is why Marvel and Dwayne Johnson are more popular than the Safdi Brothers or Tony Gilroy. Back when Kubrick or De Palma were making stuff people didn't have enough material existing to blindly follow and successfully fake having a deep understanding of cinema as a trend. They blindly went in trusting the filmmaker, not knowing what to expect and were rewarded with a ride of a lifetime. Now every guy sits down to watch a movie in hia bedroom to 'evaluate' it. Their take on the movie is more important than the movie itself. And studios making directors attend press conferences to pander to these guys and 'explain' their vision is not helping either.

@@tisisajay Oh, they must've changed the episode number. It shows as 18 on Netflix but episode 14 everywhere else. Interesting.

There is 1 problem about space episode. It is not cold in Earth's orbit, but rather incredibly hot. The spacesuits of the astronauts run a cooler so that they do not burn alive.

I stopped watching the reaction to these series because of jaby thinking all the episodes have some meaning or lesson; made it cringe and hard to watch. Looking at the comments seems like he still doing it so I guess I shouldn’t bother. Also does he not read the comments lol. By now he should know that these are just shorts and don’t all have lessons to give.

Hey Jaby! The 3rd law of motion from Newton can only work if the force you apply in the opposite direction has mass. Even when you think about a balloon, for instance, the air inside the balloon takes that force one side so that the balloon can go forward. Force is just an acceleration applied to a mass. No mass, no force. That’s why she had to throw something out every time.
