I have wondered about Kristina. Vishen has been the 'face' of Mind Valley, and whilst I reckon he must be a good old soul doing his stuff, Kristina has been an equally potent, but quiet and understated, powerhouse of intent and manifestation source over the years? Here in being authentic, not speaking 'authoritatively' in presentation, she endearingly coaxes us to pay more attention to our own authentic selves. Thank you Kristina
@fionalightspontaneous19245 жыл бұрын
Thank you Kristina for your vulnerability in being your authentic self. I have watched this clip at least ten times and I plan on watching it at least another ten! The part that grabbed my attention the most was when you said your perfect life 'didn't have space for messed up me '. I completely understood this! As a separated/divorced mother of 4 I, too, had known the shower crying. It was just before I discovered your clip that I had realised everything that you have spoken about. I now have the strength to know that I have not been the only one who felt this way. If you are not happy, you cannot help others. I love that!

I love this ❤️ talk. I am working on finding myself, living in the South in America as an AFRICAN american male. I always have to wear a mask to be accepted by people who I don’t even liked.
@jerryrossman54705 жыл бұрын
Be aware of your Christed Self, not an African American. It'll all clear up in the oneness we all share. You've been hypnotized into believing you are something you are not! Read Rev. Ike or watch him on KZbin. Let me know.

I live in S korea.and i have to wear at least 10 masks every day .otherwise i cant live here..
@hominidsteve5 жыл бұрын
Maybe the important thing is to be aware of the masks, and the dance you do with your masks in relating to people. And to know what is really 'you' that you keep private. And to remember (as Kristina is epitomising in my appreciation of her sharing)...that truth be told, all people yearn to be authentic. Thus you will find you are actually finding more acceptance on a deeper, but perhaps 'lesser apparent' level, (people appreciate you but cant show it) ,if you do share your honest self. There is limited, sporadic, transient happiness, no real connection, in playing the game of masks. Of course, those you dont like are in the same boat as you in these choppy waters. As Kristina says... what is your emotion in feeling something negative (or positive!) in relation to a person...run with that, dig into it! So ultimately we are not forced to wear our masks...it just helps to make sure to look out for people who also are understanding about masks, so you have allies in being freer and more courageous to show yourself. This is where Mind Valley is so worthy in helping us 'be' and moving onwards

"We are so obsessed with our reach, while we have unlearned to connect" I love this quote and the rest of the talk! I wrote about something quite similar on my blog recently (aboutthegoodlife.me) I would add: "We are so obsessed with our reach, while we have unlearned to connect - and DISCONNECT!" Learning to disconnect to reconnect is so so important in todays society! When we truly disconnect from any external distractions, we get to learn so much more about ourselves than while scrolling through our social media feeds watching others living their lives!

I have just started watching and listening to Kristina and wow... she is amazing. There is something about her energy which is so alive, real, authentic... yes, buzzword but true. And so vulnerable... but riveting. Very sexy and I don't mean that in a sexual way but more in a way of wanting to feel that freedom of self, of that aliveness. The enthusiasm and realness always gets me when I listen to either Kristina or Vishen. So expressive and in face, words, hands, energy... It's a joy to watch and hear. And I love how Kristina explains her brain. I have the same type of brain. I must analyze and think about they why of all things. I think that's a gift to be able to think like that. And also sometimes I'd just like to leave my brain on a charger somewhere and just go out without it sometimes. LOL. But I like the take on feeling all feelings. And when something comes up where we feel we have to censor the feeling... start digging. Hmmm... why am I trying to stop that feeling etc? Brilliant. Loved it. Thank you :)

Decide what feels true for you & be genuine to yourself. Life only promises change so you learn to adapt. You can either go forward or backwards, grow or die, but not both at once. I wonder how many people get married because they are being polite? And stay married because they are being polite? Two people on their best behaviour meaning both are not being their authentic self? Not the person you married? Seems being Fake is far too common to be considered not normal... Being genuine seems to not be tolerated as much. Perhaps there are better ways in between that we have not been exposed to as to experience them? For much we are programmed to behave is instinctive subconscious cultural mimickery. While I have striven to find truth, it would seem the whole world in relationships is about HOW YOU EFFECT FEELINGS within others. People don't remember what you said or did so much as the FEELING they HAD that they ASSOCIATE with You. So if you can assist everyone to GENUINELY FEEL GOOD about themselves, they will feel good about you. Not flattering, but genuine truths, which are encouraging. Genuine emotions are what the LAW of ATTRACTION is all about. These are the energy that have a great effect on us, on others, and on the things that are attracted into our lives and we towards those that we FEEL towards. And this works both as positive and negative. Feel happy and you see more happy things in your attention, its how our filters work. Feel anxious and you find more things to be anxious about. Feel fear and have much things to fear stand out. Feel you are in the right place at the right time, and amazing things will come your way which will back up your consistent feelings... Learn to find what your normal feels like... Ask yourself questions that evoke happy successful emotions in you. Such as... How would I FEEL if EVERYTHING was going OKAY and working out WELL? Give it a good 20 seconds to half a minute of FEELING this... for this is the NEW NORMAL you require to set your AUTOPILOT and SEEING and SEEKING the things that reinforce this FEELING.

@fionalightspontaneous19245 жыл бұрын
Kristina didn't come across as selfish to me. She simply acknowledged her own truth and shared this with the world. This would not have been an easy decision to make. Nothing in her speech gave me the impression she was abandoning her children, nor shirking her responsibilities. Quite the opposite. Not only is she acknowledging her truth, she is essentially going to be a better mum for doing so. If you are not happy within yourself, you cannot make others happy. If what Kristina said stirs something in you, perhaps this is because this is against your beliefs and choices. The choices Kristina makes doesn't personally affect you. Our mission on earth is to become the best version of ourselves. Yes it is about the self.
