I am still chained to my old self, which died when I surrendered my life to Jesus. The Good News is that I now have a New Life, which is Jesus living through me. It is not my job to drag the dead me because Jesus carries all of me. When I look to myself instead of Jesus, I see "dead man walking." Jesus chose to be chained to not only my old self, but all the lives of the past, present, and future. I let Jesus drag my old self and that old self will be exchanged for a new, resurrected body. As of today, one person has a resurrected body and His Name is Jesus! I need "dead man being dragged," and not "dead man walking.' Praise Jesus for the good He does through me. I (dead man) cannot do good. But, God, showing me His love, can do good and the Father sees me because Jesus does good and He puts my name on what He does. And my name is written in blood - the blood of Jesus
