These two were actually good friends. They used to hang out in each other motorhomes at the track. Haga's son, who was around 7, used to hang with Spies and play video games. Haga won a race and his son was upset that he beat Spies...because Spies was his favorite rider a the time.

smurf022, Gotta agree with you about Haga. I wanted him to win so much but he blew it. I hope he wins the championship this coming season, and I hope he does so with some strong competition - JT, Haslam, Biaggi and so on.

I like spies a lot because he rides hard, isn't afraid to put his machine to the limit to win. Haga is a tough competitor as well. He has came close a few times but anyone who has followed for the last 5 yrs knows that he falls too much. Spies fell a lot this year too in his rookie year.

I was up for Nori to win the championship in 09, and i think at 1 point he had a lead of 88 points and he still lost the championship, theres just no excuses for that

@smurf022 Haga had more than 100 points on the 2nd place(ben) and little by little he came back. Thought haga got championship on lock already, but guess anything can happen. Fell real bad for haga though. Comes so close every year just to get it taken away every year. Hope he does good this year even tho he is starting out crappy.

Easy on Ducati. NickPayne6 does not speak for Ducati. I own Ducatis and like Haga but am glad that Spies won the championship. It will be good to see him in Motogp going against Stoner and Rossi.
