♥️ Love Holds Us All || The Great Lakes ⛵️|| Sacred Moments Spent Together

Lake Erie has been a pivotal anchor for my family since moving to New Hampshire in 2019. I drive back to Michigan a couple times each year to see loved ones and this is the point where I can rest from driving, walk my legs, and feel rejuvenated before another day of driving. We took our time this time and visited some new places. I jumped out of the car to take a photo of the lake early in the morning after leaving our campsite and a man walking his dog told me to go to the pier. He said it was beautiful. We stopped by a park and walked around thinking that was it, but low and behold this man with his dog showed up again and before passing him I said, “we followed your advice”, thinking we were where he had suggested. He informed me the place he was talking about is a little ways further to the pier so we decided to drive there too. It was stunning. Clearly Spirit put this local man on our path twice to guide us to these enchanted places we otherwise would have passed by.
Michigan was beautiful this time of year too. Hot, but full of summer magnificence! We spent a whole day with the family playing. With smiles on our faces we crashed into the waves, hiked the dunes, and walked the beach shore of Lake Michigan. We then went to Grand Haven for ice cream and walked the boardwalk. A few of us got sunburnt but it was well worth it! We had a blast!
My parent’s home is full of whimsy and enchantment. I feel like I am inside the secret garden while being in their back woods surrounding their home. There is something really magical and special about the trees on their property. They are breathtaking! One of my brother’s has been creating a zen garden there where he has been making bonsai tree sanctuaries and walking meditation paths through the trees and wildflower fields. I can’t tell you how much this meant to me. I feel he is being Divinely guided to create this special and healing place. I can feel that it anchors serenity, grounding presence, safety, and profound healing to the land, people, animals, herbs, and fungi! I took a few of my grandchildren out back to explore the enchanted woods where we gathered Faerie treasures. We then went to the zen garden to make Faerie houses leaving them for the good, kind, healthy, and wise nature spirits as a thank you.
I visited some of my favorite people and places. I lived in Michigan my whole life so it holds special memories for me and the landscape feels etched into my Essence. I even lived for a few years on a mint farm in Michigan that grew and distilled their mint into pure essential oil so I stopped by the flourishing mint fields to breathe the minty air and give my blessings of gratitude to this sacred plant.
On our way back to New Hampshire we camped at a new place. We thought we were camping at one location only to be redirected to another and then redirected to another again. As synchronicity should have it we ended up on a beautiful river before sunset with the fish jumping, a heron walking the shore line, frogs and crickets singing, and solitude and peace holding our bodies and bed for a good night's sleep.
This trip, although the shortest yet, was abundantly overflowing with Enoughness. Time stood still allowing us to be with our loved ones in joyous and intimate ways. We were held in love’s purity.
I remember my husband and my intention before leaving for this trip, to be the vibration of love for all. Love was the vibration that held us all. I can’t take credit for being anything other than open, receptive, grateful, and participating in what life so beautifully brought to us in every moment. I am continuously humbled and in Awe of the miracle of life.
