Love is not just about how you feel about someone, it's also about heritage. Black people are born in a country where white people rule over them and where they are oppressed. This is not an environment that's conducive to building a family with the very people who are oppressing your people. Many white women have gotten black men placed in jail or killed because of the power of their group over black people. Also, many black women have been killed or injured dealing with white men who will be believed above them due to the power of race. The bible plainly says that marrying outside of one's people group is against HIS will because it will make HIS people worship foreign gods and impoverish them as well: Ezra 9: 12 Now therefore give not your daughters unto their sons, neither take their daughters unto your sons, nor seek their peace or their wealth for ever: that ye may be strong, and eat the good of the land, and leave it for an inheritance to your children for ever. So this movie is promoting sin under the guise of "you can't help who you love." The truth is that we choose who we love, and when it comes to race and oppression, black people need to choose more wisely.

@smwendem So I'm guessing you're white. Why do I think that? Because you don't see the oppression that black people are suffering through whether they are interracially married or not. Only a white person with all of the privileges, advantages, and protections of society can view racism as tolerable for others because it doesn't affect him directly. No one should want to be married to someone who belongs to a group of people who have been and still are actively oppressing the group of people to which they are related by race. It's degrading and humiliating and the highest level of disrespect for another human being I can think of. Maybe the example of a Palestinian married to an Israeli will help you see the point better.
