Actually, yes, love is a waste of time. I had a male best friend and I liked him. We were besties for more than 3 years (he is 19 years old now). I always tried to help him. I always had false hopes that maybe I would be one of the people he valued and that he would like me at least a little. One day, I had a friend named Büşra (a girl). We called her roce and rosanita (That was her nickname). Then we have a mutual friend named Janset. I told Janset, Janset said she had just learned about it and said, "Why did you say that? You already know that the person you like won't make you a lover." I cried a lot that day too (I was an idiot, I wish I hadn't told the person I liked that I liked him) Then I asked who could have done it and Janset said Roce did it. I didn't believe it at first, but Roce was behind everything. Many months have passed since this incident. One day, Roce's other friends came to me and said we should talk to you, and I said okay. I went to Discord with Roce's friends and set up a DM group, and they shared the screen and showed the evidence, then Roce blocked us all and left LoL. Anyway, LOVE IS REALLY A WASTE OF TIME, I EVEN JUMPED IN FRONT OF THE CAR TO PROTECT THE PERSON I LIKE, THAT'S WHY I FOUND AND BROUGHT PEOPLE'S PRIVATE INFORMATION, AND THAT'S WHY I EVEN GOT INTO TROUBLE. But whatever, right? It's all in the past and it doesn't change the fact that I was rejected. I was too stupid damn

..I'm so sorry this happened to you! From your experience love may be a waste of time, but you can't say so just because of one experience which you got hurt. Maybe you go multiple, but some relationships are actually good, and it really depends. But i'm really sorry all those things happened to you! You really didn't deserve any of that. Especially risking your life too.

It's not bad believing in love, it isn't necessary a waste of time, in my opinion. All just depends on the person who you are in love with. You should believe in love even that happened, like you said, past is past. You will know someonw who loves you. My mom always says that you don't have to search love, it comes alone ^^
