Ehh, I don't know why we, as melanated Americans, are so attached to the label of "black" anyway. "Black" and "White" are just social constructs-designed by the US government-to divide people into different social classes; "white" being the superior class/"black" being the inferior one. In other parts of the world, people are not identifying as white/black, primarily. They identify according to where their ancestors come from (ie, a person living in Sweden, whose ancestors originated from Sweden would call themselves "Swedish," not white. Just like a person living in Somalia, whose ancestors originated from Somalia, would call themselves "Somalian," not black.) So, if Monica wants to identify according to where her ancestors come from, that's perfectly reasonable.

Tim is scary to me, he gives potential emotional abuser all that trauma dumping was too much. There’s something about Tyler I can’t put my finger on it, Leo is a raging narcissist, Stephen gets the side eye for some of the stuff he said.
