"Love Is Blue" or "L'amour est bleu" is a song whose music was composed by André Popp(French composer) and whose lyrics were written by Pierre Cour. This song was originally Luxembourg's entry in the 1967 Eurovision Song Contest sung by the Greek singer Vicky Leandros.
In 1968, French orchestral leader Paul Mauriat's instrumental version went to #1 in the US, making it the biggest ever seller of a Eurovision Song Contest song in America, and the first US chart topper by a French artist.
