I have many things to say and I don't know where to start so... 1. Thank you for reacting to KARD I really enjoyed it. 2. You asked if they were the only "mixed" Kpop group (guys & girls), like NOW yes they are but few years ago there were other Co-ed groups but KARD is the most successful. 3. Compared to the other co-ed groups KARD are successful but for what they make (most of their songs are BOPS) they are too underrated :( 4. You also asked if they are dating... So no they are not dating but this point right here is the WEAK POINT of every co-ed group this is what makes them less popular than they deserve "rumors" _especially in Korea_ by the way the have another bop named RUMOR. Fun fact: the longest running mixed group (and probably the most popular in Korea - personal observation) is Koyote. They debuted in 1998 and are still active now ;)

Some of their dance moves are a little provocative just because that’s exactly the appeal of co-ed groups, cuz it looks good when men and women do sexy moves together. No none of them are dating and while yeah they do have some more provocative dance moves they honestly acts like siblings when they’re not performing! If you ever watch videos of them together off stage you’ll see a typical sibling relationship of bugging each other while also caring for each other and it’s a ton of fun to watch!

“Hola” is the word we use in Latinamerica to say “Hi” or “Hello”, as you will see they mix a lot of Spanish with in their lyrics and also has a lot of “Latino vibes” to their music mostly because 1) BM is the main producer for the group and he’s from LA (that’s why he is so good with English) so growing up he had a lot of Latin American influence and 2) their biggest fan base is here in Latin America lol. Also, Gunshot is about abusive relationships (fans/artists-physical-psychological-self hatred, etc) and at the end Jiwoo (black and blond haired girl) shot herself (I read somewhere she shot her weakest self who didn’t dare to leave). Also no, they’re not dating, they’re actually like very close brothers and sisters and so cute and annoying with each other hdjsj. Aaaaaalso, all of them has a card related to them BM -> King/Clover J.Seph -> Ace/Spades Jiwoo -> Color Joker/Diamonds Simón -> Black Joker/Hearts I recommend Bomb Bomb, Rumor (pre debut), Red Moon, Dumb litty, Oh Na Na (also pre debut) and their latest release called Ring the alarm I’m subscribing because you’re one of the few reactors who actually pay attention to the lyrics and think/seek depper into the meaning of the songs and I really like and appreciate that

I’d highly recommend checking out some more of their stuff! Try bomb bomb dumb litty red moon and inferno! BM has also been doing some solo stuff as Jseph is currently in the military and they’re also bops! A couple of those are body movin 13IVI broken me and lie. Jiwoo has also been on some competition shows and if you want to check out some of her stuff you can just search for things like jiwoo good girl and you should be able to find them! I’m not sure if Somin has been doing any solo stuff recently but all the love to her any ways!

KARD is kind of known as THE co-ed group because they're really the only one that has ever made it past a year. They're also not very popular in South Korea, but they have a HUGE international following, especially in Latin American countries, hence the more Latin sound that they have! Hope this helps! :)

There are more co-ed groups in kpop, but KARD is the most popular (at least internationally). Back in the day, when kpop first started, co-ed groups were really popular and at awards shows they even had "Best Mixed Group" award (now it doesn't exist). But now fans want to stan boygroups or girlgroups. Co-ed groups don't have big fandoms and it's hard for them to attract the same attention as boy/girl groups. Even when the new co-ed group debuts, people don't seem to be interested that much, so after a comeback or two they stay inactive - I assume because of the money problems, since they aren't selling well. KARD is probably the only one that can sell tours internationally and that kpop fans at least recognize and know about. And no, they are not dating. Many, many, many times they stated that they are like siblings and it's weird for them to even think about dating. One of the boys, Matthew, is American so you can find him speaking English about it. KARD members are kinda sick of people constantly questioning their relationships with each other. Just so you know ;) Also, in kpop dating is a taboo topic (sadly), groups can lost a great amount of fans if they are caught dating. That's probably why co-ed groups are not that popular - companies are afraid of any rumors about their idols dating life, and with co-ed groups it's easier to create this kind of rumors. They don't want to risk losing money, so it's safer to produce girl/boy groups only.

Glad you like KARD! To answer the dating assumption, the members actually stated they view each other as siblings, but a lot of their songs have romantic meanings. Easy to portray love interests in music videos when you have a mix group :) Shipping them is also pretty popular for their fans though. Also, Hola means "Hello," in spanish, pronounced "hO-La," the H is very soft. "Halla," is said differently ;)

Holla has two L's... Hola is Spanish for Hi/Hello. BM (Big Matthew) is from Los Angeles and speaks Spanish, he's also very involved in the production of their music and adds a lot of Latin influences. They're also very popular in several South American countries.... more so than in Korea. K audiences aren't too keen on co-ed groups.

Here’s some info on these kiddos🤟🏼 Some other co-ed groups that popped up over the past few years were CHECKMATE, TRIPLE H and TRIPLE SEVEN KARDs fandom name is called Hidden KARDs, Hiddens for short! We represent the ‘D’ in KARD. They had three predebut singles (Oh Nana, Don’t Recall & Rumor) before debuting on 19th June 2017 with Hola Hola. They had their first comeback with the title track You In Me in 2017. Personally my favourite album of theirs hands down. They then had their second comeback in 2018 with Ride on the Wind. They dropped their first digital single in 2019 entitled Bomb Bomb followed by a second digital single entitled Dumb Litty which was produced and written by BM (the tall member with the deep voice). BM also produced and wrote the lyrics to Gunshot. In 2020, they dropped their 3rd mini album entitled Red Moon. This album contained 2 songs written and composed by BM. In August they dropped their single album entitled Way With Words with 2 of the 3 songs being produced and written by BM. KARD are literally meant to be, the two female members surnames are Jeon and they were both one in 1996 whereas the two male members surnames are Kim and they were born in 1992. BM, short for Big Matthew was from LA, he is the tallest in the group (187cm). He represents the King card, the K in KARD. He is the lead rapper, main dancer and sub vocalist for the group. He also produces music! He recently made his solo debut with 13IVI and Broken Me. J.Seph aka Kim Taehyung is the oldest in the group. He represents the Ace card, the A in KARD. He is the Main Rapper, Lead Dancer and Sub Vocalist in the group. He also partakes in lyric writing for their songs. He enlisted in the military last year and will be back with the group in April 2023.
