Martell is trying to make time NOT relevant in certain situations. Even though his cheating timeline is recent. I've seen men argue a point down. Knowing damn well, both are guilty in that situation. Which would prove the worst evil right that being Martell. But Martell's point would set off a domino effect with A LOT of other people (The Scotts). So the Marsau is going to keep denying until if and when his skeleton falls out.
