They definitely do communicate, but it takes place in Book 2. It can only really happen once Maxi is sure of herself, advocates for herself, and is able to express herself more confidently. It also takes time for Riftan to heal from what transpired between them too.

OMG MY HEART! I hope this gets turned into a full animated series! If any manhua or web comic deserves to be turned into a beautiful series, it's this one. This whole series is a breath of fresh fire in the fantasy manhua and mangas where that genre is chockful of isekai and reincarnation stories or the fantasy manhua where some great disaster happens in the real world and strange magic portals open up into dungeons full of monsters and people in the world gain different skills like the whole world suddenly turned into a real life video game.

love fan made projects, the animation isn't bad and goes smoothly. The way the Maxi voice actress plays her is lovely and voices her emotions so beautifully. For Riftan voice actor though, I feel like he definitely can do better right now it feels like he's just plainly reading off script word for word instead of giving the emotions in his voice. Overall this was very lovely to see and watch, good job.

I just love them. They love each other so much. Maxi wants to help him anyway she can cause she’s afraid that someday he will left her cause she doesn’t think she’s good enough for him, while on riftan side, she is a dream come true. He fell in love with her when he was a teenager, he never thought that he could see the day when he will have the right to be with her, but he still worked so hard and his dream finally came true. He thinks he doesn’t deserve her so he wants to treat her as a princess, just like he thinks that she was treated all her life. He wants her to be safe. Maxi is so afraid at the idea that his love for her will fade away if he knew that she was treated like shit back home and not like a lady… but I think that if riftan knew what she went threw, how bad her family treated her, he will go crazy, he’ll treat her even better than he treats her right now, he’ll treat her like a queen, he’ll protect her even more and I’m damn sure that he will do something against her father to make him pay. It is the best manhwa out there and I really hope that someone is going to turn Under the oak tree in an anime, cause it will be epic.
