Love Me Do was the debut single of The Beatles. It was backed by P.S. I Love You and released in 1962 in the UK (1964 in the USA). Written by Paul McCartney when he was just 15 years old, before the Beatles were even a rock band. John Lennon helped with the bridge section "someone to love, somebody new". Love Me Do was recorded multiple times throughout 1962, featuring various drummers, before Ringo Starr became their official drummer. Love Me Do is a song based around three simple chords: G7 and C, before moving to D for its middle eight. It begins with Lennon playing a bluesy dry dockside harmonica riff, then features Lennon and McCartney on joint lead vocals, including Everly Brothers-style harmonizing during the beseeching "please" before McCartney sings the unaccompanied vocal line on the song's title phrase. I hope you'll enjoy this original 4-part a cappella arrangement in the barbershop style!
Sung with my Baritone / Lead friend, Landen Smith for his debut performance!

Love, love me do
You know I love you
I'll always be true
So please, baby please
Love me do
Whoa, love me do
Love, love me do
You know I love you
I'll always be true
So please, baby please
Love me do
Whoa, love me do
Someone to love, somebody new
Someone to love, someone like you
Love, love me do
You know I love you
I'll always be true
So please
Love me do
Whoa, love me do
Love, love me do
You know I love you
I'll always be true
So please
Love me do
Whoa, love me do
Yeah, love me do
Whoa-oh, love me do
