I forgave him, but only in my heart. I can't forget the betrayal & hurt he caused me ! Our good neighbour friendship, of over 3.5 years, is over. 2 years ago, he tried to destroy me, after he went no contact. He tried to get me sacked from my job, he called animal welfare about my pets, then he called the police to do a welfare check on me. This hurt me deeply he could do this to me ! Then when his plans, failed, he moved down the road with a woman he had got pregnant. But this was no excuse for the way he tried to destroy me. He could've just left his house, after he went no contact on me. He didn't have to try to destroy me. After just over 1 year of living with her, he moved back to his house, 1 month ago. She still lives down the road. I'm doing the 'no contact', now. I have no kids & exes baggage, in my life ! I don't want it now, either ! I'm happy being single & free of baggage. I have friends, pets, hobbies & a job. 😊👍.
