Just a quick question: Why do we need to print the template out on regular paper and then glue it onto thicker paper? Wouldn't it be easier to just print the template directly onto the thicker paper? Thanks so much for the tutorial though, it's an excellent gift for your army friends

Hello :) Thank you so much! I print it on regular paper and then glue it on thicker paper just because I don't have thicker paper at home. And I once print it on thicker paper at the print shop and tried to make the DIY, the paper started to tear and the image wasn't clear anymore. It totally depends on which paper you use. So if it's easier for you to directly print on thicker paper it's totally okay, just be careful when you fold it. ;)

Thank you so much! :) I myself used drawing paper (220g/m2) but if you don't have this, you can maybe use thin cereal boxes? It doesn't have to be to thick either otherwise it will be difficult to fold. Hope it helped. ;)

I'm so sorry for the late reply! :o But if you still are interested for the answer, I draw the shape I want on photoshop and then put the picture with it. And I also use Adobe Indesign to make the design of the templates. Hope it helped :)
