Sei Ichigo Jokes on them because one I just got Frost Rose in secret shop today and it’s $20 cheaper. Two I have enough to finish the hell. Sad because I wanted to spend $50 in this event. If I calculated things right I think all the recharge suits we are getting will cost me $35 if those other packs add up to $5 VIP points that will go towards umbrella suit so I can hopefully get her for $10:)

Not doing the event actually helps; Let’s say you have 10K diamonds, and the event is that amount (not really sure, this is an example only) Then let’s say you don’t do the event, you keep the 10K, and don’t waste them until the next hell event; that means you’ll get around 5K more diamonds, which means you’ll have 15K and won’t even have to spend money on the next hell. (Unless you want to do the recharges) Now let’s say you don’t do the event; 10K gone. In two months you’ll get 5K, which is not enough for a Hell, and that means...yes, spending more money and more quickly. You’ll give them more money doing the event than not doing it That’s the main reason why a lot of people were angry with Viv, when she was like “let’s boycott this event!” But then spent all her diamonds on it anyways. People defended her saying she didn’t waste money, but spending meant she would buy more recharges in the future to make up for the loss on that event. It is also a good way to protest for those who didn’t want this event lol

I really wanted to get the nimbus suit but, honestly, the community is right. These recharges should have been new, big, beautiful suits up to the $100 tier because it's a hell event. I didn't really care what the recharges were at first because I have more than enough to get all the suits in the hell event but, a lot of people may not and needed these recharges to get the most bang for their buck and basically got screwed over. The LN server isn't afraid to spend money but, we don't want to be taken advantage of. Boycott ✊

I've seen people posting v0 guides for collecting daily diamonds and tips for saving them for paying players. So I'd assume some of the people boycotting the event itself do not have the diamonds to participate and don't want to buy them in order to do so.

@Essence Knight I'm a V0, so I'm aware of the cost of things and the game of saving diamonds. And I'm also aware of the CN vs. LN in terms of content. ( Btw, I get 80+ every single day, and almost always bring in around 1k a week after comp, arena, tea, and home rewards. And that doesn't even account for finishing suits or random diamond gifts here and there. Collect those fb rewards, make sure to score a or below on a story level every day, and spam the hell out of votes in the competition AND starry corridor, because those extras really add up at the end of the week.) I'm not explaining why the boycott is happening. I'm simply explaining that people may not have the diamonds to get things in the hell event itself, and that would mean paying money to get those diamonds. And the fact that people are brushing up on how to gain and save diamonds supports that.

Essence Knight You also get a lot of diamonds for completing story chapters. I get around 400 at once when I hit a lucky spot with a lot of achievements, which is around every 2 weeks or so

@@seeking_saturn Well, they are choosing not to do it. Recharge suits are basically reward tiers for exp toward your VIP level. Kind of like reaching a node in an event. Buying diamonds is how you gain the exp to hit those recharge rewards. So, say a whale spent all their diamonds on Frozen... They would normally just buy the diamonds they need to complete this hell event outright, and collect the dresses for however much xp they would gain for buying them. But, if you're boycotting the recharge, you will not be buying the diamonds, and therefore not gaining xp toward the recharge. If you don't already have the diamonds to cover the event, you will be choosing not to participate or to only get the items you can afford with the diamonds that you already have.

They still haven't fixed the layering issues on the recharge we just got, the Dragon Knight, and I'm extremely salty about it. I spent real money on this and I can't even use it without trying to find pieces from other things that don't make the layering issue obvious. It's ridiculous. It's not just about the recharges, It's more like "LN has been lacking in lore related content, and free content lately, and now they can't even give us nice recharges?" (Effie focused on the Frost Rose issue, because it was the catalyst for the boycott, but for a lot of people It's just the tip of the iceberg) We are missing a lot of free stuff, that are available on the other servers (free dreamweavers, +12 free diamonds daily, a bunch of free suits, old suits back for crafting,and as it was mentioned in the video new co-op suits, and a lot of other stuff as well, it would take time to list everything). LN have been lacking in content (besides events) for months now, and a bunch of people have been unhappy with Elex for a long time. Everyone would benefit from the things that we are missing out on from V0 to V15. If the other servers can have them, why can't we? Also a heads up for players, who can only get 1 suit from the new hell event: the pretty vampire girl glass suit will most likely have some layering issues, if you want to get her just be aware of that, so you don't end up dissapointed. (Effie, the Avatar bit was really cute)

@@LoveEffie I feel like Elex likes to rely on the fact, that not all players know about other servers + newer players might be unfamiliar with old recharges. That's why I like the massive image spamming even if it's annoying. They can't keep pretending that other servers don't exist, and just keep making up their own worse recharge deals forever. Also about Nimbus, where are the recolourable suits, that came with that recharge originally? Even if someone only wants to buy her, they are still being ripped off. This whole recharge is a shitty deal, not just the Frost Rose part. Also yeah 12 more free diamonds daily are like 360 + diamonds a month. That's a big deal for lower vip players, but also great for everyone.

I'm boycotting the recharges. I don't need them anyway since I have 10k diamonds already for the hell. I'll recharge when they give me something worthwhile. They really messed up this release but tbh I feel like since the new year started and we had Miku followed by Mucha plus the high cost of dark skinned make ups that there has been a growing frustration in the LN community. Also I'm pretty sure it's impossible for them to fix the recharge situation before the event starts. I don't really understand how they made this mistake. They know there are CN recharges we want and that we've asked for like Fox Lady (which would have been a good choice in a hell event). It's strange to me that they didn't think that people expected new recharges for a hell. Sorry rambling, I'm just more baffled by their choices more than I'm angry or upset. Tbh it's more disappointment but hey that means I save money right.

I never really spend anyways so this works out for me! I'm V6. It's so dumb how the recharges are so mediocre and plain for this new hell event. I don't understand why they couldn't give us really pretty and cool recharges like they normally do for new hell events. I am one hundred percent down for boycotting the recharge, but I think not completing the hell event doesn't really make sense if you saved up the dias beforehand since it's not giving Elex any money. Lol! I just told you the other day, I thought it was getting so expensive to play. I'm a adult player w/RL bill's. I've cut back playing. And, I love my house. I've got all but 1 floor. Expanded my other floors. And for, I've lost count, they keep putting group buy will be back. When!? That made me mad! Plus! I've got every single item in all the regular wish court's. Are they EVER gonna change those!? And decompose there is a joke! Who likes getting the same thing as a cardboard box in exchange for "real" furniture!? Not me! I think, they need to work on that too! The new option to let someone decorate your home. No! I've done 1 for my friend. I'm not letting someone do mine! And my Association got the last suit in 2 war's. We all had so much crystals/sand saved. We all have a ton again. No new suit! Again!!! My association is very active. If we EVER get a new suit, we'll have it in 1 day. They won't listen, until the gold mine (Us), dries up!!

I think what's made me angriest about this issue is how apparently that set of 4 recharges we had for Blood Moon was actually meant to go along with the carousel cake suit, with THIS event. I cannot believe they actually isolated that gorgeous but expensive suit just to generate revenue for a way cheaper hell.. I don't know what their plan was, but breaking up a hell event recharge in this way seems like a terrible decision to me on every level. I feel like it might even bar us from getting that cake suit on our server at all since now she has no additional suits to make buying her worth it.. ;-; And in the process, it led them to making this equally terrible recharge decision to try and make up for it. They've definitely screwed up big time here So yeah, I'm definitely joining the boycott. I also agree with you that I don't see a point in avoiding the event as well.. I personally have enough to afford the suits I want anyway, and I won't be giving them money in the process, so that's what I'll be going with.

I'm really frustrated with LN at the moment, a while back I lost all of my association progress. I mean all of it. My association president is the one that solved the issue not LN. It was the easier way but, of course it was doing nothing is easier than doing something. My pres had to kick out another person to get me back in. Then for the past two updates I was unable to get into the game. And suddenly I can't auto complete the association chapter stages. None of them. I already had to re-do them once and now I need to again. I know it's not the end of the world but I'm getting real frustrated. I'm excited for this next update but I'm also terrified. What'll happen to my account next time?

Oh god, were you in the huge association breakdown or is that something that only happened recently? And the friends lost their while home progress with little compensation. Items stats were downgraded post release, constant layering and clipping problems. There's no uodate that doesn't come with a mess. For every time they do something well they do mess up something, too.

So I think that’s the reason we are not getting the blue free suit just yet. Do Steps of Sorrow. But I 100% support and am so thankful you are joining us in the recharge Boycott. Besides a repeat suit, to do only 2 recharge suits total in a 10,000 dias event after a 7,000 dias collab is insane. Hell event recharges are of the highest quality, top tier recharges this game has. Paying players look forward to them almost as much as the hell itself. We didn't get a $100 recharge or even cumulative recharge in November. Now we're not getting one in March. We've been vocal about it the whole time. So I just don't understand why they made these choices. We've lost confidence in the direction of this server. All we've ever wanted is to be treated like the Chinese server. While it was nice we were finally acknowledged they didn't provide any guidance on specifics they are taking to address this issue. And their wording made it seem like they might not fully understand why we're so upset.

I was actually really excited that frost rose was coming back for recharge considering its not available for crafting, but then i realized it would cost me $60 (I'm Canadian) for just 2 suits, and one that is available in the secret shop no less. Like i could buy myself a new dress for $60. I get that elex needs to make money, but there was no extra labour involved for this recharge. It really shouldn't have been that much, or there should have been more tiers. Elex has to remember that we're spending money on virtual clothes, and the game could disappear anytime

Tbh: the last recharge was kinda crappy too BECAUSE we got a 360 vip suit,the demon suit (so far so good) but after that we got one make up and wings (not even a suit) and then hair with make up (i think it doesn't matter if the make up is darker or not) AND after that we got another suit. I totally agree that this recharge sucks. But I really need diamonds. Actually on CN they got a suit and 2 recolors with it right? recolors are boring you can just change some part yourself and then change back whenever you want so maybe our boutique packs are even better. Except that crazy momo.... The only thing I can do is wait a few days and "trick"them pretending I'm not buying it. I actually think that if they are to change something they could do it after fist 2-3 days. But I feel like nothing will really change for me. Still I kinda get why we don't get those lucky bags. From the fist bunch we already had all suits except the sweets girl. And the newest lucky bags came with the hell event that costs 28900 diamonds or so. So minor hell events like ours (it's not even 16k it's 10500) don't usually get the big recharge (plus we had another one after the collab). The thing I'm complaining about is - shop packs are TRASH. No 1st small tier in recharge. And umbrella suit is more expensive than it looks. Give us the 1st tier or make her 520 vip.

I played Food Fantasy a while back (another Elex game) and some of the only non-pasty white characters have gray skin and are ALSO chocolate characters. (which implies that they didn't want to make them not white on their own, but they made them not white only because 'theyre chocolate') I was already hella suspicious about Elex and people are finally boycotting using money on them

I will boycott the recharge also. The problem is, that they don’t only have messed up the situation with Frost Rose. Even with Nimbus! Originally there was another suit coming together with Nimbus for the exact same price and this other suit came with two recolors! I also think they should not only react with small comments to the situation, they should also react with an official post where they speak clearly to us and where they stoop to be so vage about everything.

I'm all for old suits coming back and paying for old suits but I want them to be cheaper than they were originally. I LOVE the old witch suits. Like one of them was in the secret shop the other day and I would buy it if it wasn't $25. It's always been $25. I understand they want their money's worth but knock down the price if it's reccuring! That's my main gripe with it all. I don't mind old suits I just want them to be cheaper. Same goes with hell events, it makes no sense that they become more expensive the second time around.

Thank you so much, I feel like I got scammed.... I first joined Love Nikki 2 months ago and I am a V8 player. I want to finish the colabs and the super pretty stuff. I get enticed and my money drops low. What you said about 3 suits for $40 then 2 suits for $40 is not fair at all. My sister (not saying her name because of privacy) played Love Nikki and quit it at V11. She spent a lot of money, got bad deals and regretted it. I still like Love Nikki despite what it did to my sister and I. I’m going to make some changes. I’m going to play the game, not using money to help me win (actual money). Love Nikki is basically a pay to win (in this case pay to get all clothes and good looking stuff.) But you can change it, just don’t have paying real money to get diamonds quicker as an option. If Elex wants money they have to earn it fair and square. Just like how you earn money or your parents. Thanks for reading and have a great day!

Last year all of California’s power got shut off due to “high winds” and I had just finished an event (yess spent lots of gems) and just got the suit when the power went off-I clicked on the receive button one Second before the power was shut off... days later (when the power was turned back on) I realized that I didn’t actually have the suit-I contacted customer “support” and their like “Nope you didn’t get it, bye” 😭 so I was out of gems and suit-less 😭 -lol I play this game on a device that needs wifi-
