I really love your jacket! Due to years and years of working at a computer I always have to do a high round back and forward shoulder adjustments. When I noticed that my tops always seemed to pull to the back and feel like they were cutting into my throat I finally figured out what I needed to do! This jacket looks great on you!
@GrannysSowingRoom2 жыл бұрын
Hi Connie, thank you. :) It's not pulling back like that, it's just so much shorter than the front. I think it's the way the pattern is made, the next one I'll add a couple extra inches to the back. Have a great weekend and thanks so much for watching.

The jacket looks great...glad it is keeping you warmer... I grew up with chickens but we only fed this once a day...in the afternoon and we didn't add anything to their water...we did keep them in a pen and had a coop that they stayed in at night...sure hope you can get where you can sit comfortably. Many blessings

Hi Deb, thank you. Maybe I'm over working with these chickens. I'm learning from youtube on carrying for them. I just found an automatic door opener I'm thinking about. lol... I do love the fresh eggs. Have an awesome week and thanks for watching. xxx

Love the jacket with a hood. I can’t believe y’all had all that snow and here I sit getting a sunburn walking to the mailbox. I totally agree about your chickens might have torn my yard up so bad that it is almost all dirt I would love to find some way to contain them all without spending a small fortune. Hope you’re angry, but gets happier with exercise. I started back to the gym this year three days a week and it has helped so much with aches and pains, happy sewing, and thanks for another great video.❤

Hi Trish, thanks so much! I wish I was getting some of that sun, cold, cloudy weather just puts me in the dumps. :( I hope your covered up, after going through that treatment for your skin. I'm thinking fence post with chicken wire wrapped around it. I'm sure I'll figure something out, I just hate doing all the work myself, I don't have a nice husband like you all :(. He hates work and doesn't do it! I'm a one-man band around here. lol I'm hoping these exercise helps me too. Have a great weekend! xxx

Wow, Sherry, that jacket looks soooo good on you! What a beautiful make! Thank you for the review of it, I think you did a great job with your review! I’ve been considering getting chickens when we move into the new house…maybe I’ll think a little harder about it now 😂😂 So sorry about your health issues, I’m going to say a prayer for your complete healing! Thanks so much for sharing with us today, Sherry, hope you have an amazing weekend! Happy Sewing ❤~Tiffany

Awe, thank you, Tiffany! I'm so forgetful when trying to give reviews. lol... No, you should defiantly get chickens! They really aren't that much work, and the eggs out weight the work. I'm just getting older and feel every ach a pain anymore. I have fallen down the stairs a couple of times when it snowed. But the chickens are well worth having, unless you have a farmer close by selling eggs ;) Thank you for your prayer, I believe with you God will give me complete healing! Have a wonderful weekend. xxx

Love the jacket!!! I love chickens!!! I miss them so much! The best thing about having chickens is that they eat EVERYTHING!!! I have no leftovers and nothing go into the trash can!!! Even bad milk. All of it goes to them. A client at the food bank (where I work) gave me 18 yard eggs and I almost cried!!! I’m in egg utopia!!! Have a fabulous week! 😘🙏🫶🏼😎🤠🌵👏🏻💐🐔

Thanks Karen, I like it longer than the pattern calls for. Yeah, my chickens love to eat & poop, holy smokes! lol But I love their eggs, so I guess you have to take the good with the bad. I do have to figure! out how to fence them off from some of the yard, so I can have grass again. That was so nice of her giving you some eggs, what a blessing! You have an awesome weekend, Karen!

Your jacket looks amazing! Looks really comfortable and cozy! Sorry to hear about your tailbone pain 😔 That is so frustrating when they can't find anything wrong. Have you googled tailbone pain and pelvic floor? My physical therapist told me once that is a connection between those muscles and the tailbone... 🤷♀ Hope it feels better soon!
@GrannysSowingRoom2 жыл бұрын
Hi Katie, thank you so much! It really is cozy and keeps me warm while in my cold sewing room. :) Yes, I've been googling tailbone pain and started doing some of the exercises for it. I thought I would save some of my sewing money....lol... by going to youtube instead of physical therapy and getting an injection. It seems to be helping a little bit but still think I might need an injection, we'll see. Thanks for stopping by and watching. Hope you're doing well and look forward to seeing your sewing room tour. Have a great week! XXX

Hello, thanks so much for watching and your kind comment. Chickens are really great to have if you can keep the pinned up and not destroy your yard. I love my fresh eggs everyday! Have a blessed day!

If you make another Coda try watching Lifting Pins and Needles video on doing the tricky part of the binding. Karina did a good job explaining.

Thank you! I want to make another and need help with the binding. She is so good! I'm going to watch her right now. ;) Have a great weekend Sue!
