I'm 76 years old and since the band Queen became known, a huge fan of which I like to hear the music of Freddie Mercury all my life and what I wanted to tell you is that I was at both concerts by Marc Martel and Queen when I was able to experience Marc Martel live for the first time, I got goose bumps and broke out easily in te I always had to think of it at the concert that Freddie doesn't lack the atmosphere and if you close your eyes during the concert and hear Marc's voice, you think it would be Freddie, but as soon as I opened my eyes, I almost had to cry because you saw someone else on stage and it wasn't Queen. Marc Martel is Freedie himself back to us all! I even have resemblance or traits that remind him! Simple, calm, very safe and capable of reproducing with total originality what the great star did, in fact, he even plays with his vocal and instrumental bass guitars, perfect! Unlike Adam Lambert, who is very exaggerated and affected, tries exaggeratedly to get there and doesn't need any of that exaggeration, just have the innate talent like the original had and his best performance has: He's called: Marc Martel INCREDIBLE! !!

Holy shit. Marc is a dead ringer for Freddie here. I usually notice the difference between the two singers, no matter the degree of Marc's closeness with Freddie's voice. But this is magical. Marc usually sings like the 70's Freddie, with lots of falsettos and smooth transition. Here he sings with that full rasp and growl, like the 80's Freddie would, with the added nuances brought on by his live performances. Kudos Marc. I like this singing style better imo.
@erpece5 жыл бұрын
People who compare Marc or any singer with a recording of FM overlook the fact that FM himself never sounded exactly the same either. There are lots of variables including the recording and how the singer feels at that particular moment. Which is a good thing if you ask me...

With the first note on the piano that's amazing and it had me goosebumps how the people screamed and sing with it altogether. I may not have seen Queen during my lifetime but this scene speaks how epic this band and Freddie Mercury were before

Pressing a simple thumb up just doesn't cut it for clips like this. KZbin needs a specific "Absolutely, Fucking BRILLIANT!!" button for clips like this!
