@@whoolio9733it’s for fun. It’s not “needed”..and a lot of motors can run past 30mph..in fact most 750w motors if paired with a good controller and battery will go over 30mph

I just found your channel, I bought a Wired Freedom back in december, delivered in march, got home from a job on the road last week and put it together. Been loving the bike, carries my fat butt at 42mph. Love all your videos and the commentary is great! Hope to see alot more in the future.

I really enjoyed watching you carving it up, and I do the same when I can. My bike is an oddball: a RadMini with dual Tesla batteries and a modified Bafang G062 running 3200 watts. Best part is it looks stock and nobody pays it any attention. One of my favorite rides was carving it up with Onyx's and Sur Ron's on a twisty paved trail late at night, and it was a blast.

Im over 66, and I have 2 relatively new ebikes. A folder and a moped style. Im peddling 150+ miles a month, sometimes a lot more. I love my ebikes. Ride safe.

The way that ebike could get regulated or banned is because people contact their politicians and ask them to do it so if we don't want that to happen the ebike people need to be the people that contact their politicians and advocate for ebike freedom. That's how it works.

My ebike is street legal so unfortunately that means it can only go 20 MPH on throttle or 28 with pedal assist without cutting the motor. Really I wish the limits were more like 20/35 or 25/35. I was pissed to find out that after a firmware update, my Aventon was limited to 28--yet when I bought it, it could easily get up to 34 MPH and easily stay there. I regret performing that "update."

I don't own a fast ebike, mine only does 35 mph on a full charge and around 30 when the voltage drops about halfway but anytime I mention it in youtube comments or in an ebike reddit thread people yell at me and tell me my Philodo H8 is a moped or even a motorcycle what's wrong with 3000 watts of peak power (2 motors) and 35 mph?

If you like things that are FAST then you should check out the "Veteran Sherman S" or the "Veteran Lynx". Not quite a whole bike but they do got some E involved if ya know what I'm sayin. I was so triggered after I watched you hit 38 that I almost cemented my hands to my local bike path in protest! Great video. Thank you for sharing!

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend a non-Wired bike as I know nothing about them. Probably check the (honest) reviews out there and decide! Finding an unpaid review will be your biggest challenge. RUGER

i have heard that california e-bike incentive got messed up by politicians who made it more complicated. they made more rules on top of it to bog it down that no one will be able to take advantage of it for awhile. one problem is they are now further limiting your e-bike options to only ones that are ul certified. that narrows it down from what the option list was before and created a mess with manufacturers who thought that some of their product line fit the bill and ended up wasting resources. we'll see what actually happens in its final form. there might be a bike you want which may not fall into that category now.
