In this Love Removal Machine guitar lesson video, I will show you how to play this classic from The Cult in it's entirety.
The tuning is standard tuning. E A D G B E
The main riff that starts off this great song is based around major and sus4 chords. It is pretty simple to play, but there is a quick little burst in the strumming pattern that can be a bit tricky to get right.
The chorus moves around a quite a bit and has a bunch of moving lines that sort of flow around the chords.
The solo is classic Billy Duffy with lots of rock infused blues licks to get your hands on.

Great , playing around with the end part of the solo that you said just play around with the end part !!! Im intermediate an will get there and that is nothing like your on about . Its more like the hardest with the repeating bits . Made me laugth play around with it . Good lesson apart an like your lessons . Billy is not up there with the greats an just watched him with billy gibbons on stage an when it was his turn you understand that . Saying that !!! Hes wrote some great riffs . My old teacher was his tec sn simple minds tec . He mastered maimstrien an was so fast . Its a shame theres many players better than famous guitarist ... Great lesson !!!!@

By the way, in this song those variations on the open G with D and C chord notes really resonate like the open G with C and A variations of Angus in both Highway and Shook me... The sound from the amps also is close, except Angus plays with no direct distortion...
