I remember getting chucked out that fuckass bar up on 48th bucham when I was a young riff rat. Eyes red and embarrassed, this song kept me calm. I realised I couldn’t live like this no more. Picked myself up and went to pay phone to let moms know I’m coming back home. Man since then I never looked back. Got a job by the old plant up at Michigans and ended up getting a promotion. Had a wife and 3 kids and now our 6th grandchild is on the way. If it wasn’t for this jam, I don’t know where I would be. Just hit 87 and I can now say I have no regrets. Long live Sosa🙏🏾💐
