Катя Бобрик i'm not so sure, but people think that the character alice is "Mad", and because the lines "We' re all mad here " and "All the best people are mad" both said by alice. Robin is the archer because she is "Robin Hood", there isn't much explanation for that.

It's not really the "official" name, there's also curious archer, rabbitbow, wonderbow, ect... I don't think we had chosen one yet, but the competition is very likey to be between Mad Archer and Curious Archer

Well there are some hesitations between Mad Archer, Curious Archer and Rabbit Bow. The first and last the actresses used it and the two first are the most used. I use Curious Archer because mad has already been used for Jefferson and as Alice/Tilly shows signs of mental illnesses a part of the fandom doesn't want it to be their name. I don't know exactly where curious comes from maybe from the original Alice book?

TwiFascinations I think curious came from Tilly/Alice is a curious person, she wanted to travel the world. Personally, I perfer Mad Archer since I feel like it fits better for the ship. I understand that mad is not a good way to describe someone, but I don't think they're using this word as a negative word in Alice and Robin's case. Both of them said that "All the best people are mad" and once, Robin said to Alice that "You may be mad, but you have magic". I feel like "Mad" is more of a charaterstic of Alice/Tilly
