One of the greatest bloopers I have ever seen had an pilot at the centre of it, in a film that must have been from these years or a little later (during WW2). The lone pilot is sitting in his plane and cold Arctic winds are howling around him. The light is greyish, stage snow is falling and there's ice on the wings of his small propeller plane (the scene is very obviously shot indoors, in a converted barn or something). Our man is talking in the radio mic, his voice troubled: "Temperature is -10 and I'm over the sea...Ice on the wings...I've got gas for about fifteen minutes more". He pauses, and suddenly we see the dark shadow of a stagehand carrying a long plank on his shoulder quickly striding over the sides of the shed-like space around the airplane. The pilot erupts: "Hey! Who the HELL is walking through the SKY??!". The next moment, he realizes he's fallen out of the role, erupts (BEEP!) and slaps his hand over his forehead :))
