I was in a similar situation with a soulmate. The immense pull makes it nearly impossible to maintain blocks, silence and to keep a distance. For both. That doesn't mean it is impossible. In such a case, free will creates unmanageable turbulence to a point where shutting it all down is the only solution. It was the most difficult thing I've ever done, but necessary to remain sane and functional. Uncertainty, emotional manipulation bordering on abuse as in this case, can and will destroy lives. Cowardice, superficiality, cultural indoctrination and unhealed wounds cause an inflated ego, illusionary world view and absolute disregard for others. A truly painful but educational journey. No regrets though, it made me who I am today. Now that I know better, I am better. Much love and empathy to those dealing with similar relationships, may the release process be easier and sooner rather than later. Thank you Kate, Blessings!

I giggle every time you say, "Question Mark" as that was my name for them to differentiate them from other Mark's in my circle. 😂 I could "see" his brain go back and forth all the time. He was not ready for a committed relationship, even though he said he was. He wanted to be free to go after the next shiny. But he regrets now not having me. I reached out after weeks of silence in the deep freezer, to find out he had moved on. I gave him space to heal from a previous partner. It was devastating as “I was the one”. Horrible to think it was all bs, no courage … can’t believe he is a runner & liar. Lost trust. What got me over this .. the need to have, to hold, & grow with … got 2 kittens. Unfortunately this is 99% my exact predicament. I’m sort of glad he ghosted me again this time around after I subtly called him out though, because it takes a weight off my shoulders. Would I take him back in a few months if he came to me claiming to be a “changed” person? Yea maybe, not going to lie. But before this last runner incident I was frighteningly ready to accept him the way he was, and it’s easy to see how that would have turned out for me.

She was told by his sister when she asked if he was married or if he had a girlfriend and his sister said NO! When she asked him if he had ever been married he said once for 8 yrs in the 90’s! Both he and his sister lied to her! When she found out he was married on social media she stopped having feelings for him and she went on with her life.✌🏼
