When the mind discovers that reincarnation is anything but salvation, it wants to know what the alternative is, and no one has really had an answer. One group tries to lie to themselves and everyone else by saying there's some state of maturity where dying over and over is ok, and the other group conceives a non-returner but can't describe what the state of the non-returner is.

As to 51" cannot we be on several levels at once? We must integrate the body-mind and the Absolute, somehow. There's got to be a relation between them. Many things are only knowable through multiplicity, so the world is not just a worthless illusion, a distraction from the Absolute. Adumbrations of the Absolute?
