@@deep5muzic it was explained actually. When he got fired from Apple and had to become a beginner again. He then noticed that he loved to do what he always did (after getting fired he didn't start looking for something totally different to do). And when he had to struggle from zero again, that's how he got into his most creative period of his life.
@AndrewCortesi4 жыл бұрын
Yeah I agree. I mean he started off the keynote with “I was very lucky to find what I loved to do at a young age”. This story ended up being more about his journey in life and less about the title of the video. Of course no one can tell you what to do in life, but some key pointers would help. Sometimes the phrase “do what you love” is not enough. I like to follow Casey Naistat’s mantra which essentially is, “Keep doing things.” If you keep your mind busy with new and different things, you’ll eventually find that “one” thing that brings you happiness.

@GlassOnion233 жыл бұрын
I hope you're being facetious but in case not, he does say how later in this 3 1/2 minute video :^p Some people are very lucky, gifted or both and find out what they love early in life. I think that's very important in order to do really groundbreaking work. To those of us who aren't very lucky, we have to look a lot harder for longer . The whole point is to keep on looking and never settle. It's worthwhile advice.

The way to find what your supposed to do in life, your life purpose is by asking yourself. Journalling is the solution which will work for sure. Write in a book the very first thing you get up morning as " I am doing my soul purpose job" things will start becoming clearer to you. Your gut feelings will lead you where you are supposed to be successful.

An amazing speech, but yet the only thing that I strongly disagree (might be I misunderstood S.J) that The Passion couldn't be Looking for. I was mistaken because many books many successful figure told on TV that you need to LOOK FOR YOUR PASSION. Then I was enlightened by my successful mentor from US that PASSION is "Love what you are doing", which you couldn't go and keep looking for but ACT and CHANGE to love it. Thank you ❤️

@amandamichalik46994 жыл бұрын
Going to say, it took me until this year (I'll be 33 in October) to connect the dots of my life and realize Steve Jobs is just like me and anyone else who just is lucky enough to find out what they love to do early in life and take the right opportunities to meet the right people and make the best of using your passions in the circumstances you're given...people will constantly tell you you're wrong, but success isn't living someone else's idea of it. You don't have to make millions of dollars to have a "successful" life, love what you do, be with who you love and like he says, the rest is secondary. It can be on a modest level.

I can see where you're coming from, but the pursuit of happiness is not equivalent to the pursuit of meaning.
